First thing I noticed was the blacked out windows. Totally takes away from everything else done well on that body. If they did stop the blacked out windows and tinted them, knowing Traxxas they’d charge another $79.99 for that……..

Traxxas are jut wanting the cash, so the quicker they can churn out bodies the better for them …. Masking takes time, but the way these bodies are produced nowadays I can’t see how it would cost that much…. It’s just lazy

I have the blue F-150 and it's awesome. Thanks for pointing out that this one has a shorter wheel base ... I didn't realize. Traxxas is on a role with this great releases!

I knew what it was but all the others I’ve seen are Red so it was nice to see the Blue version. It’s short wheelbase & high center of gravity hurt the performance but other then that it’s a stunner as far as looks.

You can use your M17 as long as you have a 4 channel receiver like the RX-493 to put in the truck. Program channel 3 to a switch as your hi/lo gear and channel 4 for for diff lock/unlock.

That is so exciting because I already have the TRX4K10 Cheyenne but I've been waiting and hoping that they would release new blazer body that would fit the high trail chassis so I will be buying this one clear and painting it myself when its available. I'm a Chevy guy 100% so this is awesome.

This body wont fit your k10 hightrail without buying a new set of links/another entire traxxas lift kit. The blazer is 12.3"wb while the k10 is 13.2"wb

Thanks for the tip but im afraid you're miataken. He mentioned that the blazer and bronco are the 12.3 wheelbase but he was referring to the older bronco and blazer trx4s. This new body will be perfect for my longer chassis. I'll just need the tall rear body posts with the clipless mount system.

Have you looked at Vanquish VS4-10 Phoenix for a crawler? This product seems to offer a lot more bang for your buck. Would love to see a comparison from you between the TRX4 and the Phoenix. On another note, it would be nice to see a factory Dig Unit for the TRX4 instead of another body.

Hi Mark! This question isn’t about the TRX 4 but I respect your opinion. I got a 4 x 4 Rustler for my grandson for his birthday. I thought I was getting the lipo 3S version. Unfortunately it is the Titan 25T one. Is it worth doing the Traxxas power upgrade that I’ve seen advertised? It’s $100.00 for the bigger motor and ESC. Will that mess up the light bar (which is way cool)?

How old is your grandson? Because depending on his age, you have to consider that the VXL system will do 50+ mph depending on gearing. It's $125 for the power up(meaning you trade your brushed esc/motor combo for a brushless), otherwise it is $170 for the motor/esc combo. No, it will not mess with the light kit that comes on the car. Also, the vxl is a brushless system that can run both 2 and 3 cell batteries.
