He needs to do a couple more examinations. * Denis believes if he is given another year to train, he will be even more ready. * He does not want to compete in TOP 8 because he can only prepare for one match a year. * Denis no longer does exercises that stress the back such as deadlift, squat, or press. He only does table or cable lifts now. * It takes him several months to peak for a fight. Now he needs to focus on strength and bench 300kg to prepare for Levan. * Denis is about 20% stronger now compared to at the beginning of 2020. He still needs to gain 30% to be back to his peak form. This could be a very dangerous move for Denis. He knows that he has to force himself for his own strength development for the ultimate clash. But his body is not gonna adapt well enough. Here is the thing, his body is still bouncing back slowly from recovery, once he decides to take on the Giant, he has to come well prepare, he doesnt want to come short and take the Big L. The fight with Levan will push him to his very verge of going all out thus he HAS TO USE steroids and he may relapse the second dowfall of his health which may come with the consequence of severe health problem and he may not be able to armwrestle at this high level again. I'll be total fine if this match is postponed till next year., no need to rush, Denis needs to double think cause every one is waiting for the ultimate fight when its bound to take place with no concerns of health risking invloved.

Interesting. So he believes Devon Larratt stands a chance against Vitaly and Levan. After watching the match between Denis and Devon and then seeing Devon practice with Vitaly I didn't think that Devon would fare very well against Vitaly and Levan, but if Denis says it's possible then it must be so. At least it can be said that Devon may be a stronger right hander than left. Now I want to see it. Also, I'd like to see Chaffe mix it up some more and maybe Travis Bagent and Michael Todd added as well. So many good matches to be had.

Honestly, this is something that everybody that are interesting in armwrestling wants.. In the other hand we all know Denis has kidney failure and he cant go as much anabolic (however I can call it) today as he could before fight with Larrat... DENIS... IS... DONE... And we all should respect his end of the career without that fight. We all would miss that fight FOR SURE. But it's not even fair to fight Levan with Denis atm with that problems, with 70% of the strength with Denis... It's just fucking unfair fight. That fight says NOTHING about "strength to strength" at this moment. We can only treat it more like a "sparring a guy that is out of form with a champion (which is probably Levan at the moment)"...
