I remember when most people didn’t care for EB01 compared to the other sets out at the time, including myself. There wasn’t much to chase and most alt arts were of less popular characters. But since it was never reprinted it became rare and now everyone loves it. EB02 looks like a better set off the jump. More chase cards like these foil leaders and more popular characters getting alts. It shouldn’t end up as rare and expensive as EB01 because now people know these don’t get reprinted but I already like this set more personally.

I feel like because everyone knows it won’t get reprinted and they know the value is gonna go up the demand is going to be through the roof. I hope they print a good amount even if it’s for a limited time only.

@@jecarde4088 Yeah I do think if theres not a ton of supply the price will skyrocket early. The main difference is its so hard to find EB01 because most of the people who bought those opened them. A lot more people buying EB02 will be keeping them sealed.

I think the foil leaders is cool but definitely not a chase card because the alt leader cards are so much better than the foil leader. The foil leaders will be expensive at the start but will fall off in value because it's better to have alt leaders

The drop rates will most likely be either 2 per case (same as an SP) or 1 every 2 boxes (same as eb01 pulls) where each box will contain 3 hits and you'll either get an AA leader or an SEC. Given that there were no SPs in Eb01 and the sheer number of leaders, the latter is more likely.

Knowing that this will never be reprinted like EB-01 and PRB-01, grab these guys at release because surely weeks or months after, prices especially sealed ones will skyrocket. I'll be buying myself a few booster boxes as part of my collection and will keep it sealed. :)

I really like these. That Lucci looks so cool but it will be hard for me to choose since I play a Cipher Pol deck. That's the Lucci I use though. I love the full art but that new foiled one looks really cool too. Almost seems like Lucci is punching off the card because of the textured foiling. That would become a hard choice for me to choose from. As a Lucci fan I love getting to see his cards so this is no different and makes it hard for me to choose which artwork I want to use between that and the amazing full art version of the leader.

How cool these end up being completely depends on how easy to pull they are. If they are like the PRB01 Don and this leaders are 1 per pack then they are one of the coolest things bandi has done. But if they are as rare as other “SP”s in previous sets or even just the place of a regular hit, they instantly become lame and pointless to the point I’d rather them not even be in the set

I just really hope the pull rate isn’t super high. Coping that it’s the same rate as Don cards in normal packs or the foiled don in the PBR.

Worst choice they could have made look we reprinted the same leaders uve gotten prbly 30 n added foil n were put them all in the 83 card set makes alot of sense if they wanted to do that they should have made it a binder collection

Wossy , mate, the numbers in the corner represents the next year or anniversary of the next year since the Game’s release.. so you can think of it as the symbol that shows which era the card and set belong to

Is this confirmed? Because the starter decks have 3 and came out before OP10 which is the 2nd anniversary set, which has the 3 as well.

If you pay attention to the actually dates those decks came out then you’ll notice it’s around Nov. which is the same month that the game was launched ; Nov.2022

I predict these will have similar pull rates as the gold dons. 1 per case in japan and 2 per case in English.

I think EB2 will have the same hit rate as EB1. My guess, you will be guaranteed 1 foil leaders in every box. If these leaders are the same hit rate as a gold don. That would make them more expensive than your alt leaders which doesn’t make sense. Foil leaders in my eyes is another option to have a nice leader without having to pay for the alternate version.
