Just a fast question, how much power does the led uses? Is it 12 or more the reason it uses a capacitor ,i might have thought iy consumes more than 12v.im planning to make an improvisation similar with cob leds' but having two connections in parallel, one for low beam using 5A fuse and a 10A fuse directly into a dc line...

Concerning POWER, it is 25W, but if you are talking about Volts, it is 12V

@@atcrijekawe really need to get our hands on its schematics...heheh

@@atcrijeka ifound someone did it, though he totally forgot he can just take out the entire board and stick the cob LED right into the heat sink instead of tapping it into the board.tsk.. Look kzbin.info/www/bejne/mmqQemOCYtqGa6M

@@atcrijeka i gues its the whole unit that uses 12v, probably those resistors in place were to trim down the voltage, i think the lamp is a 3v powered.heats up wildly on s direct contact to 12v.

Hello Is there any way of showing how to open the case? Did you forced it? Thanks for the help on opening this.

mike4tsix You have to cut the red and black wire that goes from the case to the angel ring. I recommend you cut it in the middle so you can solder them back later. And then you unscrew the ring with the angel light.

Hey, Thanks for the info. My only problem is with the red led. It's not allowed in my country so I want to black it or something like that since as you said in one of your videos it's not ok to remove it. It's just sad that they don't make the same model without the red led inside nor without the strobe function. Can't really understand why but it's ok. Once again thanks for the info and quick reply! Cheers!

mike4tsix I heard one guy that one thing to do to remove the red led is to cover with a black heatshrink tube. I am going to try another option, removing the red led and placing a 22Ohm resistor to simulate its existence. I will post in my videos, as soon as I get to, within a week or two.
