I play brawl stars since 2020 and I don't have a single rank 30 brawler

As someone who used to be top 100 global in ladder in 2021 and overall top 3 local from 2021 to 2023 ever since winstreaks were introduces it just lost its whole meaning. The way the reset system was also implemented resulted in everyone having his trophies overinflated making the competition mostly out of casuals. Before I used to play against semi pro and pro players when above 1K but now, why even bother (not to mention that even ranked ruined the competitive spirit). With the new approach I hope that they finally bring some light to competitive players since the only way to practice now are scrims and tournaments.

TLDR(New Trophy Reset)Even if you push to r35, all you're getting is a single pin. It doesn't compensate enough for the fact that all brawlers will reset to 1000 after this update. Anyone above 84k on the leaderboard will have trophies all reset to that amount. Some may find this really unfair, which it really is, but it gets rid of all of the wintraders. R.I.P Ladder Warriors

Win streaks only apply to the brawler that started one. Let's say you have 10 win streak on Bo and want to play Piper and farm trophies, you won't be able to continue the 10 win streak from Bo.

30 brawlers to 1100 sounds doable only if those 30 brawlers are pretty upgraded. I wouldn’t be surprised if the majority of the brawl stars population has less than 30 brawlers lvl 9+. It’ll be a struggle for people that don’t have as many upgraded brawlers. I do think that it should be doable getting more trophies in 5-10 brawlers.

So, matchmaking is getting "better" by grouping players by the trophy count on a certain brawler they play at the time? Sweet, can't wait to get paired up with tomar753, who has 5k trophies in total, but has decided to play Colt at 1000! Meanwhile, we are up against premade group of players with no less than 85k trophies each (I only have 71k). Matchmaking is a disaster, always has been, always will be. Lazy ass, greedy devs. If people, actually, stop feeding them money, they might be forced to do something that actually improves the game. Trophy rework is a step in the right direction, at least. Hopefully, cash flow starts to run low soon.

so before everyone starts packing i actually play on this exact sistem (kinda) in a different game and let me tell you ITS ACTUALLY AMAZING see in splatoon we have whats called x rank its a new mode after you grind to s+0 and here you go new mode its not perfect(hell its sucs for a completely unrelated reason) but here is the simple wersion you play a match after that you get a point: get 3 and you win a single x “siries” now you get a different amount of “power” in a completely unrelated sistem forget is said this and finally get placed in the ranking now if you play BELOW 1800-2000 you CAN’T face people above 2000 however when you get above 2000? shure everyone is a possibility to face EVEN THE TO 500(which give you a awesome crown and is something that should absolutely be in this :3) now the thing is that when you get to that 1000+ shure you “can” face a top 20 line green solder that has 300000000 kills on his original( i hope someone gets the joke) but at the same time you do get better this way no more fresh instals running your game because what kid is dedicated enough to push past 1000 constantly and not quit when they get destroyed? all am saying is this just makes sense and is a fantastic addition as the point is(if you didn’t relized yet) TO GET BETTER AND GET FREE COSMETICS

I am top 100 in the US in terms of trophies. This update is completely killing everything about my account and there’s nothing to do in the game anyone. First they removed power league and I was like okay, I’ll just push trophies. Now they are resetting all my trophy progress that I’ve been putting in 5 hours per day in order to get to for what? This game sucks and there’s nothing for good players to do anymore I will most likely be quitting. (I will be going from 94 k-84 k, about 3 months of pushing for tons of hours per day)

You need 1035 trophies on every brawler average with the new system to get max rewards, and this update's 700 is the new update's 1000.

Welp. All those stressful games for high rewarding r30's went right down the drain. Like don't get me wrong, losing 2 games worth of trophies pushing high was annoying asf, but it made it more rewarding.

@@Loraxius Yeah exactly. This ‘not looking at the total trophies’ is a good idea which I’ve had for ages now, but I said lets make R35 2k trophies so less good players can still reach 1k or something while 2k is very hard to reach for just casual players
