I think it's bugged? During the end of penultimate buy phase (21:55), dogdog tavern is +21/+49, and Hafu's is +24/+24. dogdog's Messenger is triggered 4x during battle (22:35). It supposed to just increase team's tavern by +8/+4 and dogdog own tavern by additional +0/+16. So +29/+69 for dogdog, and +32/+28 for Hafu. Yet during the start of last buy phase (23:20), dogdog tavern is +29/+69 (correct), but Hafu's is +40/+48.
