Natlan is located west of Sumeru's Desert of Hadramaveth and is much closer to Sumeru than we had expected. A reliable source in the community, Uncle Teyvat, has shared some new details about the highly anticipated map of Natlan in version 5.0. According to the latest info, Natlan will feature a floating rock island in the sky, probably similar to the floating Celestia island or whatever it's called.
About the ground map, they said that the Natlan map seems closer to the Sumeru desert than initially expected, and the area that will be available in version 5.0 is a little bigger than what we saw in the preview trailer video. As for its size, the map releasing in version 5.0 will have the same size as the Sumeru map released during version 3.1. Although the initial map size might not seem large enough in the beginning, they said that Hoyoverse has plans to expand the map to the north and south in future updates.
They have drawn a rough sketch using the current in-game map, disclosing the distance between the two regions, and they appear to be connected through a small passage. Apart from the map sketch, Uncle Teyvat claims that Natlan will be a layered map located in the sky. The new map won't have a large south shoreline and will be a different continent separated from Sumeru's desert via the ocean.
Natlan is rumored to feature a layered map with around 13 to 15 underground cave systems, each having one to four layers. They said that these will be more similar to Chenyu Vale caves than to Sumeru caves. The volcanoes are situated in the unexplorable area in the west, but we might get to explore them in the future as the map will expand to the west and northwest.
There are no cities underground, but there are huge temples; and we will also get a new offering system in version 5.0, similar to Sumeru's Tree of Dreams. There are three tribes and one arena in the newly opened area, and among these tribes, one is close to the entrance of the desert or the sea, one is shown in the preview video, and the other is shown in the ignition trailer video.
Moving on to some new information about the two new artifact sets that will be released in version 5.0. Before sharing this info, you should know that the source of this info is unknown, but it was shared by Team Mew & PTL, so take it with a grain of salt. The first set: whenever a certain amount of Night Spirit is consumed, the damage of your character will be increased by 20%, and it will also increase your crit rate by 40%. I don't know if it's exactly like that or the other way around, but I don't think we are getting a set that provides 40% crit rate just like that.
I would have believed it if they said something like 4% or 14%, but 40% is just way too much. Moving on to the second set; the 4-piece set restores the energy of your character when someone in the team enters Night Spirit state and triggers a reaction, and it also increases the damage of all party members by 45%. These numbers are way too high, so it's really hard to believe at the moment, but the beta will start tomorrow or a day later, so we will surely get confirmation by then.
Moving on: there were some rumors that Hoyoverse will increase the max level of characters to 100, and their talent levels to 15 in version 5.0, but according to the latest info shared by FouL, they won't do it in version 5.0. They didn't say that we will never get it, so there's a good chance that we will see this change in future updates. That's all the information we got today about Natlan's map, its size, and the new artifact sets. getting level 100 also meant that the enemy levels would increase as well. Imagine a new tanky boss like Azhdaha, who now has 10 more levels added to it. Heck even the overworld would become like spiral abyss lol. Also if they do add a weekly boss on that level, it better drop dream solvent, weapon billets, etc on guarantee...

Even though the increase in level may happen in the future I honestly don't know how to feel about it. I can only imagine that the increase in level will also bring with it an increase in the level of mobs or enemies. IMO there's nothing wrong with the level cap of characters. What they should fix is the arrtifact farming. Like seriously, even if a player spends an entire month farming in a particular domain for a particular artifact, what the player will get will always be random. Hope they'll do something so that we can at least have something like Fate Point or whatever in farming artifacts. At least allowing us to select the main stats for the sands, goblet and circlet after like maybe farming the domain for around 30 times or more.

@@MyloAnton2 for real bruh. Artifact farming remains a problem even after years have passed. I know they designed it that way on purpose but seriously something has to be done about it. I mean, even those who load bundles to secure condense resin will find themselves stressed out if even after purchasing a bundle and using the condense resin from the bundle they still get thrash artifacts. They should put some limit to randomness of the artifacts that we get from the domain.

the increase in level will be a huge issue if it does happen. From 90-100 will require at least 60 boss drops and a hundred ascension mats. And that’s not counting the millions of mora that will have to be spent on talents and ascension. It’s impossible to excecute well especially since if it happens in one patch people in endgame will have dozens of characters that’ll need to be pushed to 100 to max damage, and you can’t buy your way out of it either.

Level 100 is only going to be good if there's no WL increase. Otherwise, it just amounts to more grinding that you HAVE to do if you play Abyss, because Abyss enemies are likely always going to be some levels above characters max potential level.

About the artifact sets, There are two ways the first set can actually give 40% crit rate in my opinion 1) natlan characters ascension stats arent crit rate/dmg 2) natlan weapons dont have crit stats Bc otherwise it sounds ridiculous 😅 esp if we get a character/weapon who can give the night spirit state to non-natlan characters (kinda like furina or fontaine weapons). Seems too broken For the second set, not sure i understood, but seems like it would be good dor mono-element teams with a single diff support

We already have a set with an easier 40% crit rate. The condition is just attacking a frozen enemy, meaning freeze teams already achieve 40% that easily. And considering that I don't think it's super unlikely that giving a 6 second 40% crit rate bonus for just consuming night spirit is something hoyo could decide to do.

and I'm not...a well missed opportunity to make this game after fucking 5 years of total stagnancy finally significantly better in regard of Character Balancing, Character Progression, Player Comfort of speeding up alot the Leveling Process from 0-90, which is right what players need now for IT, to broaden faster their accounts and build more characters from 0-90, to make then useable for the next Content that IT adds, that Echo Content, which requires of your Lvl 90 Charactters to do their challenges, if you want to earn their Echos... People always whine only about the "effort" of bringing Characters from 90-100, while forgetting, that such a change would make make everythign for them from 0-90 ALOT faster too. You dont stop suddenly getting ever any new characters, just because the cap got increased to 100, which you have to Level still then from 0-90, in order to make mostly full usage of them first in the Endgame ModesAbyss and IT. Veteran Players would also finally have somethign to do again to be busy for a longer while again... I'm no Whale player, just a small Dolphin ,that is playing since Day 1 ..if I can get all Characters that I own (and thats like over 75 currently) to Lvl 90 from just doing Events, buying Exp from Housing NPC, doing Leylines, explorign the maps to 100%.. then everybody can do that.... Everybody who complains about 100 is just an lazy ass player.. thats the issue ...

uhm, no, it wont be insane, increased AR/WR levels will compensate and speed up everything enough, to keep the optional levelign to 100 (90 was totally optional before, IT changes this now, there is 90 now a requirement) on a sane niveau. People would Lvl 100 only, if they would want to reach say a potential expanded Abyss Floor 15, where Enemies woudl have then Lvls between 101-110 and if IT should receive eventually later a higher difficulty than Hard, say Extreme, where you would need even more Charakters than 18 with Lvl 100, to be able to beat it as Non Whale, where Whale Players still could easily do it most likely with lvl 90 characters.
