2 heirlooms for the price of one is a neat idea but this is poorly executed IMO. A long time player like TGM gets nothing at all from this deal and isn't even allowed to buy it... (EA: "Thanks for all your money TGM! As a thanks from us for that you get... NOTHING!" *jazz hands*) And for someone with zero heirlooms they now lose the agency of choice so they can sign up for a gamble instead. They should have just made it so heirloom shards drop double during the event. Would have been fair to everyone and wouldn't force people into a gamble. If EA wants to bring people back to the game, they need to stop thinking about gacha mechanics and start thinking about making things enjoyable for the players.

It would probably be a better idea for it to give you double the shards instead, because the chance of them dropping outside the 500 pack guarantee is already so low that doubling its chance wouldn't even make it higher that a 1 in 500 chance.

Tested the heirloom pack on an alt, it does only give legends specifics, got mirages and lobas, honestly not worth, just save your 150 for something you want.

While this is super great for players with shards, its also not, random heirlooms gives me a feeling they're making some cool new heirloom that might be on top of others, thats why they want players to spend their shards so most they likey have none left and are forced to spend money if they want it, it could be a customisable heirloom or prestige skin, apex profit is drowning atm so it would make sense that they try something players have been wanting for a while and charge $150+ (taxes) 💀

@@arketta- It's not level 500, it's 500 packs opened. I got my first shards at around Tier 2 level 230 but it all depends how many packs you've opened (i.e. how much you've played the game over the years)

@@mathiassk I know it's not due to your level but back in the early days you used to get about a pack per level which is why I asked if they've gotten to base level 500. I'm a double prestige working on triple, just over half way there and I've gotten shards around roughly level 600ish. I've also only really spent $50 throughout the games life cycle and it was only for apex pack bundles and the one time I bought the battle pass years ago.

The only heirloom I have is the Katar, and only if you have the money for all the variants is somewhat worth it. But I couldn't complete the base Katar much less imagine to get the variant I want. If I had the money I would go for that offer, but because I'm a student who doesn't have a job because of complex situations I can't afford it. Not even 150 more heirloom shards for one of the heirlooms I really like and want. I really wish I had the opportunity to get that offer, but in the end it is only a dream that will never come true. Aside from that, great videos man. Keep the great content.

nah, it's a good thing if you got something you want. This isn't even close to worth it. The recolors make this terrible. If you own like rev/wraith recolor, you could literally pull rev/wraith OG one. I'd literally uninstall the game if I opened this pack and got the recolor or og variant for a legend when I already have 1 or the other.

That interesting, so you get 2 for 1 essentially on the heirlooms. That’s not bad considering the legend heirlooms are so difficult to get. The best heirloom deal in the game for the average player is the Cobalt Katar. Because you can have an heirloom equipped with every legend and there are so many different variants that you can upgrade over time. I’ve played every season and have only gotten two heirloom packs which I used on Bangalore and Cobalt. And honestly I like the sword style better than a lot of the legend heirlooms

Yeah, cost-wise it's a good deal. But I think the majority of the playerbase just plays 1 or 2 legends, so most people are better off just buying the one that they want.
