Honestly, the stuff on Capitano is very interesting. The thing with the archons, and this is something I’ve noticed, every time they released. It’s usually at the end of the Archon quest line. With 1.0 and 1.1 for Venti and Zhongli as both regions were already finished, but were released slowly. Then 2.1 was when the quest for the Raiden Shougun/Ei ended and she was relased. Then in 3.2 and 4.2 was the end of Sumeru and Fontaine and we got Nahida and Furina in said patches. Even though Furina isn’t the Archon. In a way if we’re getting technical. You could say she is because she’s Focalor’s humanity. Hence, why they look the same. Regardless, Given the pattern and the livestream confirming 5.0, 5.1 and 5.3 are the archon quests. That means in 5.2 we’re getting something different. So either something happens in 5.1 where they need to take a break from the Archon quest for one patch so players can take it in. Or there might be some external factor beyond the game that explains this break. And since Archon’s release the same time the Archon quest line finishes for the region. Mavuika releasing in 5.3 does make some sense. But then again HoYoverse could release Mavuika in 5.2 to avoid a potential clash with 5.4 being lantern rite. Since 5.3 ends at the beginning of February the same month 5.4 begins. And if Madame Ping is coming in 5.4 like previous rumours suggested last year she would be playable. They might want to avoid having the Pyro Archon interfere with that potential revenue. But it’s hard to say ,the rumours have usually been pretty reliable for most things. Especially when it comes to Banners of new characters and somewhat rerun characters (though HoYo started becoming unpredictable with reruns). There have been some exceptions. Example the Pyro Archon alleged concept art. And how many people thought the final design would look similar to it. Or recently Free Bennet. So it’s 50-50 considering how Natlan seems to not be the typical region we’re used to dealing with.

My reasoning is that we have the battle pass weapon called The Black Sword and the artifact set called Bloodstain Chivalry which there has been multiple for Fatui connected to artifact sets. La Signora- Crimson Witch of Flames Pale Flame- Pierro, Wanderer, Pantalone, Dottore and La Signora Husk of Opulent Dreams-Wanderer.

It isn't because Mavuika ain't the Pyro archon, it's cuz the archon quest this time takes place in a different pattern, it's 5.0, 5.1 and 5.3, meaning there ain't an archon quest for 5.2 this time perhaps they might have some event or festival at that time. They clearly mentioned about this (not about 5.2) but they said the Natlan archon quest will take place in 5.0, 5.1 and 5.3.

Doesn't the Archon release at the end of the Archon quest of each region? Considering that the livestream said that we would be getting an Archon Quest in 5.0, 5.1, and 5.3, it makes sense that the Pyro Archon, Mavuika would release in 5.3. Also, in the livestream trailer, it does show Iansan being Electro, so this is no longer speculation.

I just think 5.3 Mavuika means the story might be a little longer before the weekly boss. I think all the Archons were 1st weekly boss, technically even including Venti. Likewise all Harbingers have been the same patch or immediately after their own weekly boss fights so far.

so let me elaborate about the X.1 and X.2 patch theory about the archon's......archons are usually launched when there is a big moment is the story regarding them.....furina was lauched in 4.2 aka" Masquerade of the Guilty" , where neuvilette announced in the trailer that the "hydro archon" will be punished by death sentence. So as per our prospective hydro archon was furina so it was best time to release her.. as of nahida it was 3.2 becuase she was gonna be released from the dream world. During this live stream when the devs talked about the 500primos from Archon Quests they said 5.0, 5.1 and 5.3 will have main archon quest. They obmitted 5.2 that means there will either be no Archon quest or Deinslief will show up.. thats they only reason why mavuilka will be pushed back to 5.3 so that she can be released in the peak moment of story. thats why i think that mavuilka being released in 5.3 is just to manage with the AQ, but yes i dont think she is the actual pyro archon, She is most probly the pyro archon but she does inherit the ancient name of the pyro archon so she has limited control over the element... thats the reason she doesnt want to hand the gnosis to capitano because its her only way to use pyro powers... i think we will revive the old pyro archon who had the ancient name aka MURATA and we will get the pyro mc from murata and not mavuilka.

Capitano: What use is the gnosis in your hand? could be hinting that Mavuika is not the archon resoson: Capitano line implies that Mavuika can't utilze/use the gnosis, in which gnosis are know to give power ups to the archons, but hey, that's just a theory

This is not necessarily the case. I can't remember if it was Ei or Zhongli, or someone else, but the Archons don't really need the gnosis anymore, which is why most of them, except for Venti, were very willing to give it away. I mean, if you consider the story quests of each Archon, it proves this. They are all able to wield their elemental powers just as well without a gnosis. This could be why Capitano tells Mavuika that the gnosis is relatively useless in her hand, since she doesn't really need it anyway.
