Seems like the general sentiment of this event is a little lackluster. I really just want something to grind for. Give me outfits, evidence skins, let me wear an elf hat, let my video camera have snow around it, let the tripod be a Christmas tree with lights, anything other then just interacting with a box. :/

This. if we could have cool looking skins for the evidence items, and the outfit system already? It would be amazing. Imagine if we could grind for said skins. Some require games played after the update (So we have to grind) Some that require specific ghosts or interactions and stuff

Krampus is actually from Alpine folklore and is a half goat, half man who was said to visit naughty children to punish them. I think the decorations aren't actually Christmas decorations, they look old and ragged and are more likely what Krampus has brought in, along with the snow indoors.

In Austria, we have a tradition called Krampuslauf (krampus procession i think) where people dress up as Krampus and parade through the streets. They carry chains and whips, sometimes playfully ‘hitting’ the spectators, but there’s also mulled wine and punch to enjoy. It’s a mix of spooky fun and festive vibes! 🥰👹🎄

It looks like it's a little underwhelming In my opinion. I'm glad their doing events and all, but with the way the wreaths are placed over braker and other objects, it feels like they copy and pasted it just where ever instead of taking the time to correctly place them.. it feels a little lazy.. I know Halloween and Christmas are close and they did the most for Halloween.. but idk just my opinion.

Having decorations on top of the breaker spots is criminal. The only explanation I can make sense of is that CJ o whoever was in charge set up all the decorations in just a few hours in a base version of the maps that doesn't have the breaker.

I feel the same, I mean, it is the most played ghost hunting game. So I'm assuming that the devs got into a lot of phases with the game during those years. I believe they also got a decent budget ? But the thing is, this is the most played game in this genre. I was expecting at least full snow on the outside of the house and on the outside map. Like legit full white snow. Maybe the Christmas tree at least in front of the house. I know that the dev team is not huge, but to me it feels like overall the game needs a bit refreshed somehow. It was fun for a while, now its a bit boring. Just my opinion.. I would love to see this game evolve even more, maybe Phasmo 2 would be a good idea. Not really sure tho.. I'm pretty sure it takes a lot of time, effort and money to create something huge. But I can at least hope :D

I think the reason for the poor decorations is because it’s Krampus decorations. His whole thing is like ugly decorations and snow inside the house. That’s just what I’m assuming after looking it up and reading a few comments saying the same thing

I couldnt do the halloween trophy this year it was too confusing to me, hoping watching this makes the christmas one more do-able. I liked last years shoot the snowman with the snowball gun that was so glitchy if you didnt hit it in just the right spot it wouldn't count but I still loved that one.

I understand the blue light filter, because it's great at giving the "cold winter" vibe, but it gets in the way of the cozy decorations. Would love to have the option to turn the filter on and off. On the other hand, it's a horror game, so maybe cozy isn't the way to go (even though Tanglewood is top 10 cozy places in video games)

I think I would honestly respect if they took a day or two listen to some of the criticism from the creators who have early access actually implemented it. They rushed this and feel kinda like Easter all over again nothing cool and spectacular really. They set a high standard with the Halloween event especially for new console players and dropped the ball a bit and now it will also mess up any obake we get like the Easter event

The snow placement alone lets me know this was rushed and I get they trying to stay ahead and get to other projects but then they should’ve made a mechanic change to the game such as the freezing all over the house as insym said to make up for that or maybe even add trees and have the ghost event next to it and burn the tree using similar mechanics they have for sunny meadows in the chapel just something else. This event is definitely missing something

Hey, insym! I mentioned this in the chat of your livestream, but there were a lot of messages coming in at once, so I wanted to also tell you here. When you were having trouble finding the ghost room because everywhere was cold, my brother and I had the same problem the night before. It must be a weird glitch. We went around with thermos for 15 minutes, and it was all cold. It actually ended up with my brother getting yeeted by the ghost, and it was hilarious 😂

Love the update but they need to add more jump scares in the game and play with the audio add growls and other effects in your ear also change the death animations so they catch u off guard have ghosts that climb on ceilings and walls make it so u can exercise the ghosts and also a cool feature in multiplayer if a player can be temporarily possessed and hunt his friends ur eyes turn black and you start growling and loose communication until hunt is over
