The Beipi nerf is kind of confusing. Barely anyone plays them already, (cause like Hypsi they are basically just pkayable food) So why make them even easier to catch and kill? Have too many escaped death therefore their species must be punished? I get why Hypsi now has growth (nesting and etc) but part of me (based) feels like they just nerfed them...as now Hypsies (who already die when the wind blows) get to suffer and grow into a frail as fine china creature.

I guess they want Beipi to dive more and rely on underwater locomotion to travel quickly. And obviously, for Hypsi, they need to enable growth for mutation.

Well it doensn't impact that much since beipi never move like that. They always have been slower on surface than uderwater and surface is basically where deino hunt, they wait a prey to be on the surface. So idk why they made this change but it's not impactfull For the Hypsi they alwais said it was gonna have a growth one days

It’s only the surface swim speed, nothing else. Making this out to be some terrible nerf is like saying that the terrestrial animal’s z walk is too slow. You aren’t supposed to be doing that when you want to get somewhere quickly. The actual method of traveling with beipei is, and always has been, the dolphin breach.

@@dark_c_a_t8894 yes. You expend much more stamina, in order to move at much greater speed. That should not be a concern when a gator is currently on top of you. Worried more about mileage? Swim underwater. Because that is also literally the same speed as it was in the prior patch. We are talking about an animal with 3 to 4 different flavors of getting somewhere fast, and yet people are complaining about the single one that was nerfed. Dolphin, Under the surface, Glueing yourself to the riverbed and sprinting, and running around on land are all the same. Anyone who was surface swimming to get around before now, was putting themselves in a far worse position than most of the other options anyway. It’s far easier to get chomped on while floating, because you’re moving in a predictable manner and easily seen. Dolphin is easily seen, but far more difficult to time an ambush on, while swimming underwater is just infinitely better for stealth. Even with all the ragging I’m doing on it, the surface swim still has a use. It’s the one you can use scent in, and the one where you can take a moment to observe your surroundings, neither of which requires you to go Mach 5.

Awesome changes to grapple and really appreciate the changes to chuffing. I assume they implemented grapple how it was at first just for testing purposes, glad to see they made it a multi omni ability as this makes much more sense and requires skill to pull off. Lessening the stam for troodon latching is also great, lil guy needed it! So cute just hanging out on the teno hehe not gonna lie I'm a liiiittle sad that the south sanctuary is real now 😹 it was a great place to hide out haha I'm amazed they made hyspi spawn in as a juvie now! Super unexpected, but not unwelcome. Overall great changes, just don't love the beipi one. Seems unnecessary to me.

I still think grapple needs a little bit more nerfing. It'd be better if Omnis needed to exceed the target's weight unless it is completely out of stamina. Because I feel like people forgot that Omni never NEEDED to be able to pin things down. Grapple didn't "finally make Omni good" it was already VERY strong specially in groups, it just made it overpowered.

Great work as always. What do you think about the grapple. I personally think the exploit of having a small omni continue a grapple should be fixed but if the raptors weight is above a threshold and the Dino being grappled is around the same weight and low on stam a solo grapple should be possible.

@@KougaArt You don't need to be equal weight to wrestle someone to the floor. And when you add more people/things pulling in different directions, it makes it even harder to defend against. 70% I could see, but 75% means you are big enough to wrestle something solo, albeit with difficulty. So 80-100% weight makes no sense especially when you consider multiple attackers.

@@KougaArt To me pounce is OP since it's spammable, I think it would be better if they implement again the if you miss you are stun + increase value. I also seen some interessting idea where people said we could hold right click to prepare a pounce and realease to actually pounce. This way you opposant see if an omni is about to pounce.

Like I said if the player being grappled stam was more apart of it instead of combining the Omni weight to negate any processes that need to be met to pin I want Omni to be capable but I don’t want it to be broken or easy which this grapple seems to do for them with some more tweaks it could be a good rewarding tool in omnis kit right now that’s not it
