I never understand these child favoritism parents, ESPECIALLY the ones that favor a child for like... no reason. Like "oh they're the oldest" or "oh they're the baby" or "they're the only boy/girl" like wtf you chose to have these other kids, you gotta take care of them too. And yeah it is bad even if there is a reason (like they're really smart or really good at whatever the parent is hyperfixated on like sports). But this kind of stuff turns parents crazy when their favorite kid is not as pampered to the rest of the world. ugh.
