Where to begin. If you have AMD then play with FidelityCAS. If you have Nividia you can play with DLSS, the issue with input lag is corrected by more frames OR you can play with DLAA (which increases sharpness) and reduce texture quality to low. You get increased sharpness, and the low texture increase FPS while the DLAA makes the image look better.

Just a note, faster rendering is lower latency, so even if your screen can't display more frames, running more frames is superior so you shouldn't cap the frame rate unless you're concerned about saving power (if your electricity is expensive).

Not exactly true, you run the risk of overheating your gpu when you dont limit frames. This is unlikely with higher end gpu's but still something to note.

@kringeyz2776 ... Modern cards have protection against that kind of damage, high end or not. Unless you're running an OC or you have defective thermal paste/fans you won't overheat the card. Regardless, more frames rendered = lower latency.

@@data_dealer861 ur right but for the wrong reason, fps caps are just terrible, the code and how it works with most game engines just causes input delay, even if i naturally get around 280 fps uncapped, but then cap it to 280, games just run worse

The game is unoptimized, this will work for some. Game is absolute ss, if they dont focus on fixing these PC crashes, this game will be worse than Cold War and COD AW

@@djnohands3632it’s probably your pc I have a 3060ti which is by no means top tier. And Ive crashed less than 5 times I think and I’m 3rd prestige max level. My main issue has been dev error that takes me to main menu when trying to match make

@LuckyBear157 i guarantee its not my pc. I have a 7800x3d, 32gb of ram, 6950xt, and a 1200 watt psu. I have never had this issue on any other games i have played. This is the only game that causes me this issue. Theres a boat load of people who are complaining about this game and treyarch/activision havent even addressed it at all.

@@djnohands3632I had my cod crash constantly mw2 and 3 turns out I had a bad ram stick and didn’t know it was causing it to crash, I can almost guarantee it’s a software hardware issue on your end

@@MickyThunderV DLAA improves sharpness. I mean it’s in the acronym. In order to increase FPS you lower texture quality which has a bigger impact on FPS. DLAA will make enemies standout more making the game easier to read while maintaining a decent FPS.

@MTM-Bonkers I know but with my 3060ti I tested it and quality wise it's really like this DLAA best DLSS 2nd and F as 3rdish. In previous titles Fcas looked by far the best but now at least for me DLSS is the way to go. Also I feel like most ppl don't really try and just assume because it used to be like that

Any upscaling should be off. Fidelity cas etc adds input lag from generating frames
