OKay, I like this guy! He's got the type of attitude I want to see from manufactuer reps! These rifles look amazing! In terms of a NR modern sporting rifle I can see no options that would be better that's also made in Canada. Would get one in a heartbeat... if I had any spare change to get one. Maybe once the economy is going a bit better. I'd rather get one of these and support Canadian, then get a Tavor or something made in another country.

Does anyone know these fit ACR or scar style stocks? I like the ar180 platform and definitely will be getting one but I like a little more substantial stock, I have a cheap .22 that has an scar style stock with adjustable cheek well which is awesome for getting up on the rifle and your eye ending up where you want it.

Not being a Canadian what is the difference between this & a AR-15 besides the fact that it's side charging handle.

From the user perspective it's quite similar. The ar150's work with gas being directed by a tube over the barrel into the action throwing carbon and gasses right onto the bolt blowing it backwards. The wk is completely different, and is more similar to a sks or svt. The gas tub come out the top of the barrel like the ar15, but instead of sending the gasses onto the action, the gasses get pushed on a rod that goes into the action. So all the dirt and carbon is ejected outside the action, in theory this should give you more reliability.

It's the same thing but this rifle has a gas system more like the FN/FAL and a side charging handle just like a FN/FAL. For me, I would rather have the side charger and skip the gas piston.

I have fired 4 different Kodiak WCR rifles and all of them eventually suffered fatal malfunctions and had to be returned to the manufacturer

i know of guns in canada that are non restricted but come with a restricted barrel that can be easily changed but you must inform the CFO of the change, why not go that route so the government dont have as much control....

Sounds like a big bag of excuses for a ho-hum rifle. A tip for you, if you're planning an AR build. Take several days and study every possible part from all the suppliers before you buy anything. Spend the big money on the barrel, bolt head and gas system and you will have a top notch rifle. I also recommend using a BCM upper receiver and handguard.

All I am hearing, we made a base, we want other companies to build the gun, we want the money. Make a product that has some creative purpose.
