I don't suppose you have considered just stretching the Mini-t 2.0 50mm to make it a mini short course truck. it would fit under the 1/16 slash body or the old Losi Mini-SCT body.

Why not show how you attach the battery straps? Which screws do you use??

Why is the battery offset so far to one side? Sorry if thats a dumb question. I like the idea of upgrading the car like this but I'm just wondering why its built the way it is. Cool stuff!

Helps with oval racing to have it on one side so you can take left turns faster

the one side not matching in weight is gonna be a hinderance if you race it

Can you still use the original body it came with, or is this specifically to use with other bodies only?

Conversion is only for mini late model sized bodies really. Wheelbase is a lot longer than stock.
