It smells so happy and that’s why I bought it. It smells like you aren’t trying so hard. It smells sweet but a DIFFERENT kind of sweet, kind of sporty fresh vibe too but it smells very energetic.

I'll probably pass on this one. I do wear Valentino born in Roma intense to work and it's one of my most complimented fragrances. A co worker of mine had this smile on her face like she was in intoxicated with the smell as she said, "you really smell so good." It's worked but on other people it can smell different.

I'm in Canada too and I smelled i both on strip and on skin. It's....fine. For me personally, even as a mass appealing designer frag, I think it's neither here or there. It'll be nice for the spring, with that bit of freshness. Disclosure: I've never been a huge Valentino fan. Their drydowns on my skin have always been so unremarkable. Love the bottle though.

I can smell the coffee and Bergamont in this one, but no star anise I think I much would prefer and grab the coral fantasy. I like the smell of that one better than this one.

My initial impression was good. My final verdict is less 😅 but ill say thats why i have to smell every fragrance minimum 5 times. Some fragrances i hate at the beginning and end up loving!

Loved the original Valentino oumo intense so a few years later I rebought it not knowing it had been reformulated. First thing that caught my attention was that it now had a cap and different atomizer. What a let down it was, went from a deep strong and complex fragrance to a one dimensional sweet shell of its former self with no projection or longevity. Bottle is still pretty much full over a year later 👎

Excellent first impressions review of Born In Roma Green Stravaganza. Yes, I agree with you this Valentino Uomo line I've never been impressed with except for the very formulation of the OG. My guess as to the name and the green theme is, since star anise seems to be a main note, it could be playing off the idea of absinthe, since that’s a green spirit with the main flavors being a licorice, anise flavor
