wow. i voted for this guy because he said the opposite of what he is saying now. the crime from the downtown east side and surrounding area extends all throughout the city. it is like rot that spreads. there are signs at all the bus stops that say "don't stigmatize drug use or drug users" and i understand that on an individual basis, when dealing with one junky at a time it might not help to stigmatize... but on a societal level, when people on the edge of addiction, those who are depressed and lacking hope see people living rent free in a tent, job free in a tent, getting free drugs from the government, no harassment from the police, taking drugs on the street with cops watching,, it might not seem so bad to be a junky!! there is nothing to discourage them from a life of addiction. but then, the number of addicted people goes up ! so even if not stigmatizing helps one or two or even a hundred addicted people.... if that encourages, or fails to discourage, 200, 500, 1000 at risk people... the problem becomes so much worse. and the company that is delivering the "safe supply" .... who owns it?? who makes money from it?? who are the new dealers?? these are direct questions to the man who made this video and anyone who might be reading this comment.... is it truly the former provincial health officer and the academics who came up with this strategy?? who exactly are the new dealers? and how much money are they making? and have they been talking to Ken Sim?

Hi Aaron, How do we make a difference? Clearly the silent majority is building and I think a lot of us millenials born in the 80s/90s are getting fed up. Withing our adult lives we have seen houses become unaffordable, the loss of Canadian identity to rampant immigration (yes I the child of immigrants said it), the loss on the war against drugs and a huge setback in healthcare standards. We have the wrong people in power at all levels and we need to do something before it's too late. H
