Hats off to Indian Railways for the new Vande Bharat trains. Hopefully we will see many more Vande Bharats and similar high speed trains in the upcoming years. Side by side Indian Railways has already increased the speed of few existing trains resulting in decreased travel time, upgraded many trains to super fast category and still doing. A big salute for Indian Railways for this gradual day to day advancement. Last week I travelled by Shatabdi Exp from New Jalpaiguri to Howrah. The journey was of 8 hours. The speed of the train and the punctuality was so impressive and train reached destination 10 minutes before time !! Also the services provided, cleanliness and foods were upto the mark. These are the things we as an Indian always should feel proud of. Respect to Indian Railways and IRCTC.

Ahmedabad Mumbai is a bijNESS route. Chahe kitna transportation de do hamesha full rehta hai. Same Ahmedabad Kolkata bhi hai, but Khomota Didi ko bijNESS mein interest nai hai. Aise long distance ke liye achha train zaroori hai.

Problems kabhi Indian trains me tha hi nahi, problems actually logo me hai jo kabhi acchi trains ko lambe samaya tak survive karne dete hi nahi, koi mirror tod deta hai toh koi seats phad deta hai, koi paan khake wash basin choke kar deta hai toh koi khaana khake wrappers seats ke neeche phek deta hai. The most immediate requirement of vande Bharat express is in the Trivandrum - Bangalore route. Currently there is only one train running on the route and tickets are sold out weeks ago. More than a million keralites are working across Karnataka and private bus owners are squeezing the passengers and charging 2-3 times the fair. Sadly the government is only aiming at the votebank. Requests from the passengers all over Kerala are still not considered. Currently the travel time from trivandrum to Bangalore is 18-20 hours just to cover 700km. Vande Bharat express can cover the same in significantly low time say 8-12 hours. Railways are always making excuses like signalling, track widening, track doubling, kochiveli platform issues and all. It's all resolved ages ago and still no response from the authorities.
