The Gucci is so beautiful, I’m obsessed with it. Yes it could last longer but honestly, by the time I can’t detect it anymore, I’m ready for something else anyway. The nest is good. But I’m not rushing out for a full bottle. I think its very…golden nectar meets vanilla 28. And I have both of those lol. And about getting frags just for review-girl, get what you’re interested in. I think your fan base will be one of quality over quantity; we want you happy and to own and review the things you LIKE! Besides, so many channels are fake in love with everything when WE KNOW BETTER. It gets too hard to trust. Vanilla perfumes get stronger and better with time so letting it sit for a while might make both fragrances smell 10x better 🤎

@@AmyGlam I would say by Mid-October they should change enough that you'll like them so much better. Especially if you place them in a dark cabinet or drawer instead of just sitting out, I did it for my KAYALI Vanilla 28 and the juice went from looking like a citrus frangrance to a dark brown almost black and potentially strong but also amazing.

I'm so glad you spoke on letting it sit for awhile. I bought the travel and full size bottle and it has zero longevity right now. However, the bottle I tested in Sephora lasted much longer. I loved it so much that I purchased at full price. I will let it sit for awhile before using it again. I do love the scent though. This is about the Gucci Orchid.

I love Gucci gorgeous Orchid but you are right, the scent doesn't last. Vanilla Bourbon is nice but I dont love it enough to get a full bottle. I just got Afternoon Delight by Replica and it is not what I expected. That Burberry Goddess Intense was a big let down. All these vanilla scents are not hitting the way I thought they would. This is why I am only buying travel sizes from now on.🤎🤎🤎🤎

On the gucci flora mine lasted on me yesterday 4 hours and longer for the part that hit my uniform top. I sprayed on in Kohls yesterday we don't have the new nest in my area yet.

I also just got afternoon delight today! Based of my first sniff, it definitely isn’t something to wear in hot weather 😳😆 but I liked it a lot so far, I need to spray it a few more times and I’ll be filming my thoughts on that one. Thanks for the heads up on the Burberry goddess intense, I didn’t plan on getting not even a travel size because I saw a bunch of bad reviews on fragrantica for that one 😳 it definitely sounds like those types of scents I don’t enjoy on myself. Travel sizes are the best way to go! Plus, you can finish it quicker and try more new things without spending a ton of money 🙌🏼

Just tried out the Gucci one a few days ago when I went to Sephora - I was scared bc usually the "gorgeous" line has a patchouli note that really sticks out for me, but since this one didn't have it, it was soooo what I was looking for!! I got like a delicious round, warm, slightly spicy vanilla flower!! Like you said, it's kind of airy and light which I feel like is kind of hard for a vanilla bc for me they tend to be heavy and sometimes too sweet! I sprayed one time on each of my wrists and 3 or 4 times all around my body and at first it was a little heavy but after about an hour, it was perfect! 😍 Def going to pick up the travel size when I get paid next....(Orrrr ask my boyfriend if he wants to buy it for me bc he loves vanillas!! 😂)

I agree that a lot of the latest perfumes that are coming out need to sit out a bit to get the full effect since they are so new we may not be getting the true smell of the fragrance yet. You’re right about orchids not having a scent. From what I’ve read, the orchid note in perfumes is usually a ”fantasy” flowery note.

I bought both but instead of opening I’ve been spraying them at work (at Sephora). The bourbon vanilla reminds me so much of a root beer float popsicle stick. Not vanilla or bourbon enough. The Gucci is a little sharp in the opening to me but dry down is beautiful. Doesn’t last for me and I blind bought afternoon delight instead. Fingers crossed that one delivers.

I saw Donna Born in Roma is coming out with a Gold flanker that is supposed to be the same scent profile as Gucci and Alien Goddess. So if one doesn’t preform…no need to keep her

VB by Nest is nothing like Nirvana B. It’s a very unique vanilla super elegant. The comparisons from fragrantica are so wrong. Try layering with Vanilla 28 it brings out all our favourite notes .

Well I’ve noticed each scent and brand will be different. I’ve had perfumes that smell amazing right from the start but usually if I let them sit at least a week-2weeks after spraying it a few times, I can definitely pick up on different notes and usually I can tell if it’s a scent I’ll be keeping or not. I think now that perfume is having such a boom, they don’t get to sit as long as before. (I might be totally wrong 😩🤣 it’s more like an observation over the years I’ve noticed) ❤️
