I am… honestly heartbroken that Liam and her mom didn’t get a happy ending. As someone raised by a single mom who worked a lot, someone who has a close relationship with her mother and never knew her bio dad, her story resonated with me. I wanted so badly for Lian’s realizations and the work she put into their relationship in that time loop to mean something. I think that Hilda’s arc and what she’s trying to do for Lian to help her grieve and let go are really beautiful, and I’m happy that this seems to be going in a good direction, but knowing that Xia really did die and Lian will never be able to tell her how much she loves her has hit me really hard. I guess it means the writing is good if I’m this emotionally invested. I just wish it didn’t have to end this way.

What I also find interesting is her Esper powers come from Chantico, Aztec Goddess of the Hearth. Only like 2, 3 events ago (I don't pay that close of attention), Hestia, Greek Goddess of the Hearth, was put in. I feel like that's a hint at something to come. Just going to point something else out: Hypnos isn't a Death God, He is the God of Dreams. Which is what Lian was essentially in. Hypnos is death adjacent, he is brother to Thanatos and they appear to be focusing on his other aspect of memories though. As they dead never truly die unless they are forgotten.

I love love LOVE how the story is shaping up, I knew that something was off at the end of the story with Lian when the final text box was just the same date all over again showing she never escaped the day. I was scared that they would leave the story like that, but not anymore since their continuing it and they teased Hilda during that whole story. Can't wait for the update for the story and then we have Andras and FINALLY SHADEMOTHER. Love this goddamn game dude.

Awesome new update. Looking forward to this! Edit: I just read the new Relic sets and they're amazing! I hope I can see Hilda's skills soon to decide on pulling Lian or her. It seems like Lian's mother and the city didn't survive. The deer looks like a symbolism of healing heart and coping.

We've had an Aztec Esper in the form of Valeria and her brother Liam, already. Adrina is the third Aztec Esper and the second to be made playable. Hilda is blessed by Hypnos, who is part of the Greek pantheon.

Won’t lie; I honestly thought this was gonna be a Persephone Esper because she looks like/ acts it. Plus she is my favorite goddess in the Greek mythology. That being said Hypnos still makes sense and as always love the art and story line. Can’t wait for the release

So I’m back here because I just finished Warm Winter. Spoiler alert: I have to say. This was incredible. In a survey I took for Endless Summer I criticized that in the ending Lian ended up not leaving her town like she initially wanted to make her mother happy. Turns out Warm Winter not only expanded on that ending, but answered a lot of questions for me. This event was incredible, and I nearly shed tears experiencing it. I even gained a personal attachment to Hilda and Lian as well. I wasn’t at all interested in either of them outside of usefulness in battle. But now, I have a personal connection to them. Thank you dislyte for that. I hope to see a character that looks like me (Black) have the same amount of depth Hilda and Lian have soon! Beautiful work. Those two are stars on my fave espers list, along with Zora, Valeria, Gaius and Intisar✨ KEEP IT UP!!! I remain a fan of this game 💙

But no, Lian's event ends with her still stuck in the dream repeating July 9th again just in a different way.
