Wow its about time, even though it wasn't in British service it was called the poor mans Centurion tank. The Vickers was an export tank and India, Kuwait and Nigera where some of the contries that purchaced this tank. Finnally Wargaming is brought out a historical tank not some rip of made up fake tank with rockets coming out of its ass. Still I might like to get this tank but not for a fortune prefer to grind for it. In the other game oh should I say it WARTHUNDER you can get a premium Indian Vickers MK1 which they call the Vijayanta tank. Also grind for the standard Mk1 tank and later MK 3 and more modern MK7 MBT.

i have that whatever tank i play, no matter which time. the past 2 weeks been completely horrible RNG wise. not even 50m was close to hit near the aim center. might be due to playing without food, premshells or bounty equipment but its still insane how much crew skills and soft stats actually mean in this game. Basically nothing as RNG is everything

Interesting. Leo 1 with vents, low noise and rammer gets to like 43% camo + smaller profile. For this one to be more equal it has to use exp. turbo and that brings it to 33.5% camo, 10km/h slower and bigger profile. I feel like this one is going to be even more unforgiving than the leo and a big arty magnet.

Its a leo 1 with cent ax dpm and mobility and ironically it has better accuracy and dispersions than the leo. Ax already has a rly good gun and while the armor is not fantastic it still has more than the vickers. By no means a must have tank If you rly want this tank, grind the cent ax, if you want a sniper, grind the leo

@GERAT023 The vickers rly is super accurate, probably the most accurate medium in the game even (.27 base, leo is .29). The thing many ppl tend to miss is how the accuracy is for 100m, not 3-400. A tank with .44 accuracy will have better accuracy at 200m than a vickers will have at 350 Leo also misses just as many very long range shots and there is not much u can do about it. U can play closer range and hit most if not all your shots but the risk is far higher (and more fun)

nah. This tank aint bad, its alrite. Its just a reskinned leopard with slightly different attributes. The assembly shop heavies have been the bad tanks but mediums will be mediums.

On tier 9 still kpz would be more versatile, because it has armor, while Vickers has none. If you want a paper dpm tier 9 pick something from these 3: type61/amx30/cs-59. Type has the best shell combination AP + heat, alpha is 360, but you have less than 6.5 reload time with a bounty rammer. Amx30 has the highest DPM among them, plus, some armor in a mantlet. Apcr + heats are nice as well. CS-59 is just a modern m46 Patton, no heats, but the the armor could troll enemies from time to time

I think of the 4 reviews/game play Your the only 1 that used experimental hardening... everyone else used Rammer/Vents/Experimental Turbo after watching a Few games today I think that might be a better set up overall (looking at the hit/miss ratio) Thanks again Video ! if play long time you know wot match 1 or 2 levels above u on the other team, if gun do 268mm pen but after so many meters the pen drops so shells get weaker. i call paper vs steel games were one game u tanks armor like paper then next game armor like steel, you know tank pen but it don't pen at start u know which your game going be win or loose.

Vicker 3. MBT tank from 1975. With fire control system and everything that modern tanks are using vs World War II tanks without any systems nor electronics. Vickers should have Grille 1 gun, or even better compared to others. Make him OP, or don't put MBT in the game.

My Leo's gun does the same :( I dont know why, but some less accurate tanks feel more accurate :') Heat as a premium ammo is nice though. I always feel APCR premium isn't best, especially if standard is APCR as well.

It's like a big leo, has 105mm he pen with 480 alpha.. and standard dpm is 3k. In other words it's like a counter to everything with the same amount of armor. (Lights, td's and medium slayer)

Why nobody is comparing this tank to Centurion AX. It has the same soft stats, except gun, but no armor. Vickers just have a little bit better gun accuracy, which is very good on centurion anyway, but centurion has decent turret. To reliably pen Cent turret you need 330 mm heat, and even then AX would occasionally bounce.

Verdict - Vickers 3 is a boring tank with absolutely no sense. If you wanna have such a gameplay, get yourself a Leopard 1 which is a better option. WG could make this tank more interesting, like giving him HESH shells instead of HEAT, like FV4202 did when it was a tier 10 medium tank...

Yeah, I just couldn't bring myself to sacrifice all those resources to get a tank that could well gather dust in my garage. BP fragments would get me to 20%, another 600k free XP to 80%, the rest for gold. No thanks. I'd rather use some of that free XP on getting to the Centurion AX, In the meantime, I'll stick with the Leopard.

In my opinion of gun handling, Concept No5 > Vicker > Leo > M60 > CenX, but this tank have better DPM than Concept, only cons is paper amor.

I've found the "sigma" dispersion(tenancy to find the outside of the aiming circle) to be pretty bad and unreliable shooting as showcased in that first battle on Prok. Also, the mediocre camo, top speed and zero armor makes its gameplay extremely limited and noobish more suited to sniping for fear of getting spotted and quickly deleted by intuition perk big alpha HE slingers. This is made worse by just so many close quarters and limited or small maps in WoT. So I'd be more inclined to focus on enhancing it's already excellent dispersion just to keep that aiming circle as tiny as possible as to litteraly force the shell on target lol. The dpm is already excellent and there's not often situations at tier10 when we get to keep shooting on the reload so I'd have a second load out that drops rammer for something more beneficial like a bounty turbo or scouting and/or camo equipment. You'll not really notice the difference between a 7.2 and a 6.8 second reload but you'll sure notice the difference between 60+kph and 55kph along with superior moving camo and the ability to spot targets through a bush. Obviously for the other setup for urban and close quarters maps you can go "all in" on dpm and raw firepower performance and hope someone doesn't nail you with a big HE before you farm up a decent amount of dmg. It's not an amazing tank though, far from it. At best you could say that the gun is great, but you just can't call a squishy 55kph tank with a 390 alpha single shooter gun with poor camo amazing in WoT. It's never like this. Even the Leo1. That has an amazing gun, but it's not an amazing tank either. With no armor and a low alpha(by tier 10 standards) single shooter gun, the gameplay is really restricted apart from the very rare few players great enough to play that pixel perfect ballsy plays that doesn't get smashed immediately or take 900dmg from some clicker legend. However, just like the Leo1, that redline noob camping bot will suit a lot of WoT players since the players are mostly utterly useless and clueless in WoT. So for that at least the Vickers is indeed very capable with tight dispersion accuracy and railgun shell velocity along with a nice 390 alpha on a fast reloading gun. This means that as usual, most enemy players that dare to make a positive play and move forwards but in a noobish sort of way, will get punished and farmed by a camping Vickers so even with a noob doing that with a Vickers will have their moments of success and drop in the odd 6-7k+ dmg battle now and then. But ya, it's not an amazing tank.

How many times can arty take the joy out of a rare close match? Seriously WG match arty against 14 bots, the bots are actually pretty good compared to a lot of players. This clears the que for arty and reduces the amount of arty we see. They still get to play whack a mole and we get to have games with 1 or no arty. It's a win-win!
