Just going by the models - I'm guessing the darker color has a warmer base to it. Warm bronzers and orange blushes are my biggest fears! Along with snakes, of course!

I feel the same way about this...when you use the lightest shade, it just does "something." The eyeshadow is the Huda Rose Palette! When I first saw the picture of the new WA Lip Suede I thought it was eyeshadow (like Wanderer from Kjaer Weis) and I thought..."pretty." When I realized it was the lip suede, I was less enthused because pale colors (I feel) make me look a bit dead. But, I might. I'm not a VIP, so it's not available to me yet.

It is supposed to be available sometime this month but I have not seen a date. VIP customers have early access to purchase. I am hoping Sephora will get it at the same time that Westman Atelier releases it on their site.

It does look good on you! I was not rooting for this bronzer. But both products (VB bronzer and Hermes blush) just elevate the overall look imo. Great acquisitions!

This was my second application and it's been cloudy (and will be for at least another week) - so I'm interested in how this will look when the sun finally comes out. I'll continue using it so everyone can get a better idea of how it performs. But so far, I LOVE it!

I'm surprised how many comments I've had on the hair. I had just washed it and didn't want to dry it because I was going to "set" it in braids - so I just piled it on my head and put on a couple of hairbands!

Love this review. I bought the 01 and am waiting for it to arrive. I really couldn't decide between 01 and 02 but wanted to make sure it was more natural so went lighter. Loved seeing them applied individually and then also together. Doesn't feel like a lot of people are showing that versatility. Also love the location of your application. I always do the high points on my face but always see bronzer being put lower, where I would put a contour and that looks horrible on me!

@thehoodedlid Hi! I use bronzer/contour as eye shadow because it's easy, neutral and looks great with my eye color. Do you see this working for eye shadow? I'm currently using the Dior Backstage contour palette, but it's about to expire. Also - opinion on keeping products past their expiration date? I'm a no, but I'm also wondering if I'm just wasting my dollars by tossing at the printed date.

I think her skin tone is warm (maybe even olive) - so that aligns with my assumptions about the colors. They look darker on the skin than in the pan, for sure! Hope it works out for you!

I don't know if I could. I saw Alanna Davidson use #3. Her lighting is very good and her skin tone is about the same as me - I thought it was too much. She bought #2, but didn't put it on. BUT, my impression is #2 would suit more olive skin tones since they used a model who has Italian coloring!

The contour side doesn't feel too warm to me. The lighter side, I'm not sure of because of the sunscreen I've been using - it's very warm. I hope to use it again today with a chemical sunscreen under my foundation and if the sun actually comes out - I'll be able to get a better idea. I've used it again in the DIor quint video - so keep watching to get a better idea. And don't forget to ask again in case I forget!
