After 2 years, I finally decided to listen really deeply to Corey's verse, and WOW! Praise God! The whole song is about how what rappers glorify in their music isn't "cool".A lot of people think that smoking, drinking, and bragging about yourself is "cool" b/c it's in the music. This song is all about denouncing that.

The song has the artist's name and featuring artists but even reconcile is in the background even though he doesn't rap in the song. It's nice that other people also appeared in the music video.

For those who are saying this is secular (are it sounds secular) it actually isn't. Much like secular rap (or other genres) the song is telling a story, and what is said generally doesn't mean what was said, rather is referring to something or someone. In example: "No price tag for what we endorse" Paul is basically saying he's endorsing the gift of salvation, which happens to be free. There's no price tag, because such a gift is priceless. Hence not being able to "afford the freedom" He goes on to talk about how secular music is ruining the minds of those who listen to their songs "Money, Cars, Clothes, & *Girls* and how making profit this way is poor judgement, and can be life threatening. He also mentions Jesus a couple of times as well. IE. "My old man got worked for it" Meaning that he paid for it; He died for you, he even to a spear to the side for you. His mom made him go to church and praise him for the sacrifice he made. "My mom made me go to church for it, she put me in that choir" **All you have to do is really listen to what's being said, forget about the flow, the beat and all that for a second and just listen to what's being said and you might be able to hear what they're really saying.**

music is music as long as we try to give it its own genre the world won't give it a chance. we can't keep to ourselves the lost need to get the gospel somehow. yeah ain't that like a unnecessary battle the enemy wants us in is it secular or not let's pray for the day when it is secular

If you love cars there's nothing wrong with that Everyone loves something. I understand what you saying though. but technically everyone an idolater. Even God is jealous God. Beside if loving something is a sin, no one going to heaven... plus i think adding "holic" in this since doesn't mean he's addicted to cars but simply likes things that have to do with cars. So tone it down on the shade.
