Not that I know of. You can use the Video BG Remover if your clip is shorter than 10min.

We use a Sony ZV1 camera, not a webcam. We also use QuickTime to record our screens.

Hi. How can I blur or pixelate a portion of the video (like hiding a phone number or image) for a few seconds, while I am recording the screen? What I've done in the past (with the free version of Canva) is split the video where I want to blur the object and then put a filled shape over it. Is there a better way to accomplish this? Also, do you know if Canva Pro has a built-in option that does what i'm trying to accomplish? Thank you.

Hi Mary, so far Canva doesn't have a blur effect for videos. So if I were you, I'd continue to use that hack you described. This gets the job done. Hopefully we get a native blur feature for videos soon 🤞

Make sure you select a video clip on your timeline (one that you have uploaded). It should show in the menu.

This is the closest video to being able to do what I want, but still not exactly. So once I have the highlights selected, I dont want to "add those selections to the design". I want to create separate individual reels to use for individual social media sites. Instead its just doubling up my original video and combined it. There has to be a more direct way.

It's hard to believe that the FREE auto captions are still not incorporated into Canva when there are a ton of platforms that already have it... Canva is usually the front runner on things like this. So until that happens, I'll be toggling between Canva for the bulk of my video editing and then putting my projects through other platforms I have for the automatic captions.

Hey there, technically you could probably find a way to do that, but that would probably be “stealing” the original creator’s content. KZbin offers the possibility to create “Clips” from exisiting videos, maybe you should look into that 😊
