New video shows Nottingham killer Valdo Calocane's arrest

New footage, released following Valdo Calocane's sentencing, shows the moment he was arrested after killing three people and attempting to murder three others in Nottingham.
He was tasered minutes after driving at pedestrians in the city, before being led away to a police vehicle.
The video also shows how the attack unfolded on 13 June 2023.

It's not about him being an immigrant, it's about him having mental health issues. His mental illness developed later in life. It has nothing to do with where he is from. Calocane is from a good family. He even graduated with a Mechanical Engineering degree, from the University of Nottingham. His Mother is a Nurse and his Father is a Carer. Their neighbours describe the family as “a nice family” who “have been lovely neighbours for years”

The killer was sectioned under the mental Health Act four times and released four times I want to know why he was released. People may not be aware of it but lawyers can get people out of mental hospitals if they argue well enough. Did some sympathetic human rights lawyer get him out each time? Secondly the police had a warrant to arrest him for over six months but did not. Could it be because they knew he had been sectioned and whoever got him out the previous 4 times would only get him out again so why waste their time?

The families of the victims can take comfort in knowing that even if he is discharged from the psychiatric hospital, the Home Office could potentially still deport him back to Portugal - he is not a British citizen.
