Ohhh @TheShowgirl25 I know exactly how you feel… I had this kind of relationship with my own dear mother (now long departed) & my own daughter too. Now daughter, hubby & granddaughters live half a world away & this type of shared pursuit is all but impossible due to the sheer distance. Cats are so funny. Sunny thinks he fits in that box and that's that! Love all the little items, especially the clever cardboard doll house. It reminds me of the most home made dress my little sister made for her doll out of a Kleenex. She still has it.

Sunny is hysterical. My cats love boxes. Put a blanket or throw in the bottom of a large shallow box and I guarantee he will sleep in it. Mine chew on the cardboard which isn't good but love boxes. Also, that first rug looks like bargello. I could be wrong but my mom used to do it and it looks like that. Love all the minis. I have collected miniatures since I was 5 and I'm 61. Not particularly doll house things but other smalls some tiny some bigger. I have the World's smallest letter written to my kids about what to do with my collection when I'm not here any longer. It's very cool and it comes with a magnifying glass to read it. Maybe some day I will get a doll house but no room for that now.

Fully agree with you Fleur in regard to the removal of that material from that beautiful gaming token. I(Sue) have some tokens given to me by my aunt. They are lovely. Kate, why not use your skills to make a witch to sit on that cool broomstick!? Something to decorate your studio. This box certainly had some well made treasures.

You could use a perfume sampler in glass to go inside you spritzer,to complete it .I loved all the sweet pieces you acquired the doll house and castle were some of my favorites,just things you don’t see often . Such lovingly made pieces.💕💕💕

Cats are all alike, all your attention needs to be focused on them...when they want it. They have to be in the middle of whatever you're doing....whether we like it or not🤣🤣🤣 I was painting my son's room one day, not knowing that my son had opened the door, and I'll let you guess what the cat did, but let me finish by saying that clean up was not a breeze😱😁

I loved the little homemade items. I picture a depression Christmas when mom and dad couldn’t afford toys for the kids so they made little things to put under the tree. I also got excited when Kate said the pitcher was Marx. I too thought of Marx toys which was located here in Erie PA USA.

Sunny Cat insisted he fit in that box! That 'cameo' you can make a base for and be a bust for the study. I still say you have to make a thrift store for all the odds n sods too big for the other houses. Everything is sweet and wonderful, just like you two! 🥰🥰

Loved how the cat found his comfy small box he does not fit in. This was a smashing box full of toys for children’s rooms and lots of great precious thing to.I hope you can repair the little chairs.My favourite was the humble wash board.I remember my Mum did all our washing using one of these and Sunlight Soap ,even up until I was about9/10. It was always a lot of hard work for her ,but her clothes on the line never had marks on them and the whites always glowed as they blew on the line like sails on a big ship.when Dad brought her a new dangled automatic ,she still used it until Dad threw it away .He had to write down how to work the machine in easy steps..All my friends came and we sat on the floor watching the clothes go around and round.Lol.Good old days.Life was simpler then lol🥰
