As far as I understand, the previous incarnation of cowboy Carter vinyl did not have all the songs. This version is apparently the complete similar to what was released streaming and on CD. So with all the extras material wise that might explain the increase Price.

The Johnny Cash album sounds interesting. I agree with NR’s the Future, it didn’t hit like the first two. There’s something I pre-ordered that came out this week, but I completely forgot what it was. I guess I’ll be surprised once I hit the local this weekend! 😂

The original Coach Carter album was initially scheduled for release before 2022’s Renaissance. It was going to be Act I. However, after the pandemic, Bey decided her fans needed to dance so released Renaissance as Act 1. So Coach Carter was released as Act 2. The only problem was the Coach Carter vinyl albums had already been pressed before being moved to Act 2. Not a big issue except in meantime, she recorded more music for CC. So the earlier released CC vinyl albums are the first pressings & are missing tracks found on the complete digital album. The vinyl version coming out on Friday includes all the missing tracks from earlier vinyl versions.

Aaron Frazer from Durand Jones And The Indications is releasing his solo sophomore album on Friday and the singles that are already out are bangers. I've had mine on pre order for 2 months and can't wait to spin the whole thing. Great soul music with one of the baddest falsetto voices in the game today.

I have the 2016 Kevin Gray/Cohearant Audio cut of Yes * Fragile. Until Analogue Productions does it… at 45 RPM for the 75th Anniversary series, which would also likely be Kevin Gray, lol… I just can’t imagine hearing a better sounding press. Just sayin’. I’ll take that Frogstomp tho 😂

Another week of yawners for releases perhaps except the Johnny Cash. I guess they have run out of things to reissue. I mean Silverchair has been released a few times and even Yes. While I know it’s a deluxe version still. I am waiting for the Van Halen on July 12th. I hope there are better releases ahead.
