LEDs are so much more efficient than halogens that the truck cant tell they are there. The turn signal that is flicking faster thinks its is burnt. You likely need to add a resistor in the line or get LEDs with built in resistors.

Informative, this has solidified my decision to go Alpharex on the headlights of my truck. The only reason I was looking at vland was because they are cheap and have the amber DRL stock. With all these issues, it's just not worth the hassel, i'd rather spend a bit more and have a better setup. I hear you can modify the Alpharex nova's anyways to have an amber DRL. Morimot's amber DRL lights can suck it. They charge way to much for far too little.

I bought and installed these this week. They’re working great EXCEPT my turn signals are not sequential. Only the amber in the center blinks. Also my blinker on the cluster hyper flashes occasionally.

The OEM LED headlights can be ordered on a Lariat, no XL's, Sports or XLT's can be ordered with the OEM LED headlights. The King Ranch, Platinum and Limited all come standard with the OEM LED headlights.

So, 10 months later did you ever get these things fixed finally? Was it the wiring harness, or did you go a different route?

@@WillSmith-hs1jr it does hyperflash on the dash but outside works just fine. Sorta gotten used to it now.

It's super nice looking. I have a 2020 Abyss Gray XLT. I switched out the grill for a lariat grill already and want to switch out the Halogens. OEM are like 2500 bucks so thats a no go. Want to go for VLAND since they look OEM but I've heard so many issues with them. How in the end do they work as they should?

You should test everything before put everything back together

It was tested before going back together. It only occurs intermittently.

I went through 2 different sets of VLAND LED projector headlights and ALL four headlights had problems; three of the LED projector rectangle bulbs came loose and shined UPWARD or DOWNWARD and one LED halo stopped working on the lower half. I had to remove them and install my Halogens until I purchased OEM LED Headlights for $2,400.00 from Ford.

I installed the Vlands and they look great; however, when I turn the Parking lights/Headlights on, the turn signals don't flash. When the parking lights/headlights are off, the turn signals work perfectly. Any thoughts anyone. Vland wanted me to start cutting wires and then talked about sending me a power off module for the turn signals.

@@tstdrvr just finished installing my headlights. I was missing the brown adapter I went ahead and hooked them up with out it and mine are working just fine except for the hyper flash.

Oh... I talked to vland about 3month ago and they told me that they addressed all of the issues already and promised me that i am not going to have any trouble ... I guess they lied to me then.....

honestly led are such a pain in the a$$ i got rid of them in my truck and went back to halogens. the flickers, them falling aparts, them back feeding, its just goes on and on. so much money wastes on leds

Hey i was having the same problem i figured that when I swapped the harnesses then the other turn signal wasn’t working... looking closer I figured might be a defective harness so what i did for the side that the signal light wasnt working I basically cut off just signal light connections and i hard wired it and it worked perfectly so it has to be that some harnesses mess up during process or theyre just not testing them ... but thats what i did and it worked for me

@@michaelzink2471 I have a set of VLAND and they do the same. I see it when I am behind a car or pulling in to the garage. The passenger low beam flickers ever so slightly.

Absolutely DO NOT buy them. Ive go pictures from every time its broken on mine. There is no quality control. its all just thrown together. reply with an email and i can show you what im talking about.
