I have this car and it is brilliant. I’d say the 1L Manual (110 hp) is better though. Way better MPG on long distance driving (at least 52 MPG) but can be a problem in town and you can get around 37 MPG. The big boot/trunk is great for tip runs and a lot of shopping. The handling is GOD LIKE, I once had a Golf GTI tailgating me towards a country road and before he knew it I was gone and rounded the first corner at 60 mph (100 kph) without a flinch from the tires and it stuck like glue (he wasn’t able to catch up). I’d say this car is great, and although it might look like another attempt from VW to enter the crossover market I’d say this car is quite underestimated. I am from the UK so our roads are quite bad and riddled with potholes so it’s a great testing ground for the suspension.

Sorry to say. Either that guy wasn’t racing or he didn’t know how to drive. Had both of these cars, and the Taigo is a snail compared to the GTI. In all areas.

here in Brazil this car is expensive, despite being well equipped for the market here, it doesn't have lane assistant, blind spot alert, panoramic roof and dual zone air even as an option, a version with this 1.5 tsi engine would cost a fortune here

The 1st generation of Volkswagen Fox, was exported to Europe too. Like the "Square" VW Voyage and Parati (mk1) was exported to EUA in 1990's

@@gusthavopereira430w sim! No fim dos anos 80 e início dos anos 90, os VW Voyage e Parati foram exportados pros EUA's pra ser a linha mais barata de lá, se chamavam Fox e Fox Wagon. Quando o Fox foi lançado no Brasil, a VW o exportou para a Alemanha e Europa, para ser substituto do VW Lupo, mas acabou não agradando lá, e param de exportá-lo, e foi substituído pelo UP! (No Forza Horizon 4, o Fox aparece como NPC, pois ele foi oferecido no Reino Unido tbm)
