Bought an '07 C70 for my daughter. We both love it. Cool and safe enough for her, handles and is fast enough for me. Top up or down, sweet car. Dynaudio sound system is awesome.

And if you own one, you know full well that if you attempt to put the top down in the passenger's seat, the dashboard says: "PRESS BRAKE PEDAL." Still a cute commercial. R.I.P c70. I hope your replacement is as fun and sexy. No longer in production...

Yes. But with a smarttop installed, I can take the top off with a single press on the button or use my key from distance as well. In the software a lot of things is possible. :)

@juliadennehy This is a 2010 MY or newer C70 by the headlight design. My guess is it is a 2010 by the upload date. You are correct that in the US spec cars you do have to have your foot on the break to move the top. The buttons shown to put the top down look different than the cars I've seen. The C70s on our lot have had just a single button, where this shows a 'top up' and a 'top down' button. It could be the case due to different vehicle regulations in different countries.

@BillGatts The guys left the keys in the car so the girls could listen to the radio or something. That's how the girls took down (and put up) the roof. I suspect you can't do that without the key either.

Of course the big question here is,is what the guys did once they realised the swap?
