Me too. I like the Coronet better. But I want a ride.

I always enjoy Mopar and more specifically writing about them. Thanks for the video. I find it inspirational.

Thanks man, I appreciate that.

Cool option for the cars that didn't quite make through time unscathed. Not so sure about the wide body look on a B body but I'm sure it will still be a blast to drive.

Agreed on both fronts T. I like the Coronet better. But both the old and newer Mopars were saved from the crusher and making something unique out of them is ok with me.

😂. As long as they’re using leftovers to create something nice, I’m cool with it! There’s a ton of work there though. I’ve found that more and more people actually want resto-mod; not complete body swaps like this but they want the old body styling, usually the old drivetrain (maybe overdrive added) but with upgraded modern amenities like complete ABS disc brake systems, AC, gauges and controls, power heated seats, stereo systems-even touchface navigation. It’s a lot of wiring and work but all of it is possible to retrofit if a customer wants and can afford it.

@@MidnightOilsRestoration They are idiots. Go buy a new car. This is nothing but a stupid fad for stupid people who go to stupid car shows. I'm somewhat ok with modern technology but why mess with a great thing? Our Mopars were great when they were new and they are still great now. I can understand bigger brakes, modern wheels and tires and the latest in transmissions but that's where it stops... I see one more disgusting, hacked up Charger or Cuda, I'm going to lose it... this shit is far worse than the horrible 'pro street' shit from the '80s and '90s because so much damage is being done to so much of the car... and just like the pro street morons, the vast majority of these idiots won't do anything with their full size Hot Wheels then go to some lame cruise night or sit with all the other losers at a corny car show in a beach chair bragging about how much money they spend ruining a classic Mopar( or any '60s muscle car) with their gay 'look but don't touch' signs... I know there is exceptions to this, just like there was 'pro street' cars that actually were race cars with license plates, but my contact with people who are into this garbage, including a former employer who would rather put a tired LS truck motor in his '67 Camaro rather than a fresh, built 454 he had laying in the back of his shop, because it's 'cool, because Hot Rod magazine says it's cool in the storys in between the advertising... no... fuck pro touring... go cut up something else for your ego and your retarded friends at the car show...

Not worth the scrap metal its stamped out off... Once the software is obsolete its over for that car... Unless aftermarket support is there in 20 yrs from now.... how many real car guys born today are going to tear down that laptop on wheels and put it back together...guys and gals now in their 20s will not be able to work on there ancient microproccesors...they will be scrounging around for NOS electronics... Like the OBD1 guys are now...not to mention the car makers are getting more greed everyday not wanting to share the repair info or codes to get in with out payment of some kind...one thing for sure those cars and cars like it will only be the domain of the super rich in the future.... And you can take that to the bank.

So it’s a throw away like most new cars for the rich? I can see that.

@@JonnyMoparonce a car has a data recorder on board which it probably has on board standard equipment it's over its not your car!... Why do you think they sell anti theft signal scramblers for new cars... Cause thieves could get in by mimicking the codes and unlocking the cars
