I'm plugging mine up in my GMC Yukon Denali. I got the HDMI RCA adapter. It works for all streaming devices, ps2 Xbox etc.

These don't seem to work with an OTG Cable so you can't add more Storage to them. I tried doing it with the Onn TV Box 4K but none of the OTG Cables I tried worked and it also wouldn't let me add Ethernet to it. Hopefully eventually Walmart will allow people to use OTG Cables with these Devices and add more Storage and Ethernet to them but for now I'll stick with my Google Chromecast With Google TV 4K because they allow adding both.

I have an older sanyo TV and it's only 720p resolution so would it be better to buy this or the 4k streaming box and never use the 4k resolution setting?

Great video, Thank you just set mine up. I'm only having 1 trouble hopefully you can help me with. I downloaded Xplore, and for some reason ONN OS won't let me access files even though I have given all file permissions. Do you know how I can fix this. I want to copy my files I have saved on my cloud drive to the ONN. Any help would be much appreciated!!!

Yes I have tried multiple file managers. I know when I purchased the new firestick I had the same issue but the Amazon firestick OS put out an update that enabled these permissions and I had access. However, with the ONN I have the latest OS but still no luck accessing the files I need to. definitely weird for sure. @@iptvwire

I know when this happened on the new firesticks that were just released there was an update to the OS that was released that fixed it. Lol the initial loading is the same for all Google TV devices including the Nvidia shield. You have to take the system update

That's a great question. I'm sure it could perform basic gaming needs but it only has 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of Internal Storage, and less processing power than other Android TV devices on the market. NVIDIA Shield is the best device for gaming.

True, but I wasn't referring to heavy gaming. We're talking about retro games up to PS1 at the very most. If so, not a bad way to spend $15. Can use it for streaming and light retro gaming.@@iptvwire

The vast majority of consumer grade 4K tvs for purchase today and even at the time this device came out are already smart TVs and don't require a streaming stick/box. Also if you have a 1080p non smart TV, a 4K streaming box isn't going to magically allow you to watch in 4K. It might improve the 1080p experience slightly but the difference is pretty negligible and the difference steaming 4K on a 4K device is much greater.
