There was the nerf to bloodrush, melee used to be a lot stronger than it is currently. I miss the old focus schools too, like Zenurik's heavy attack efficiency passive. Hybrid heavy attack builds are only starting to come back now.

Tested it, Galvanized Steel and Galvanized Reflex work on Baruuk's Desert Wind Exalted weapon and the crit damage bonus seems to affect waves. Need to test that out more but might be a pretty big improvement to exalted melee weapons in general.

Indeed, for regular weapons, it's hard to compete with blood rush/weeping wounds, but for exalted weapons and glaives, they might be quite useful!

Pups you forgot about how Glaives and Heavy Slam build works , They will rellish using that Galvanized Reflex cuz its permanent 80 initial combo which gets reseted per kill , in which slam attacks and glaives will kill faster than the combo drain..

That and you can have up to 90% heavy attack efficiency, can throw on either Focus Energy or Focus Radon for the additional 40% efficiency plus 60% electricity or radiation damage respectively. Add in the aura for extra 24 combo and already with one glaive explosion you can jump to 6x combo multiplier with 104 combo count. I assume you can't have the combo mod on the melee if you have the galv mod on though otherwise that could be another multiplier on top of that...

Rn im looking at jade's scythe, with galvanized mods, CO and amalgam organ shatter on Koumei add blood rush and gladiator mods for fun and watch everything blow up multiple ways

You know i just realised galvanized steel can easy replace gladiator mods, because in paper on max stacks it has 110%CC AND 120%CD. Gladiator might has 60% CD and at a combo of 12x gives 120%CC I say is a good trade off 10% CC for 60% more CD that also doesnt go away one doing one heavy attack. And its just a straight upgrade of organ shatter, no doubt about that.

I’m most pleased with these mods for the simple fact that I can stop using sacrificial steel guilt free. I know it’s still a drop in chance but as long as there’s a nice booster on the side I will do anything to stop working around that damn umbra forma! All that crying aside, I do regular try to remind myself how hard the power creep is and that most of these KZbin builds seem to have level capped, 9 hour survival missions in mind which is something wouldn’t do with a gun to my head. Level 200+ enemies are never an issue with the lazy builds I use lol

I'm still a little wary about trying to fit them into my established builds. Sacrificial Steel still "feels" stronger even for 30% less critical chance on my Furax Wraith. Kinda wish they made something that would be a more obvious swap out for something like Drifting contact or Killing Blow.

Rivens exist dude. Cc and melee damage and a third random stat. It's a hard switch for me. Higher CD than you can get on most rivens aswell so that's not even an argument. Hell do cc melee damage and faction damage. Save yourself 2 slots and still have the option of sac pressure if you want.

This phased out sac steel and pressure aswell. Use galv steel and a riven with melee damage and crit chance free third stat and or ceit chance and 2 free stats with a weapon buff skill.

Galvanized steel i find it to be more utility then damage its not much stronger then organ shatters cd but its cc is half of sacrifical steel you can use it too replace os and ss to free up a mod slot while os with ss will out preform gs while gs os will out preform ss...

You want the easy or the effective way? Easy method is you going to arbitration survival/defence missions. The effective method is having a team of boosted/blessed mod chance nekros and khora/hydroid doing 3rd stage rathuum on sedna

Galvanised steel (most anticipated Galvanised mod) is garbage, at max charge it's only 10% stronger than its umbra variant which doesn't need any kills. Also the x2 multiplier for heavy attack may not even count for half of the Galanized steel mod meaning the Umbra mod is miles better. Melee is already underwhelming enough, and these mods don't even give them anywhere near the same power up as the ranged galvanised mods did, I'm disappointed 😔

Oh shit, put elementalist, reflex, steel. Now use amalgan organ shatter, corrupt charge, primed pressure, gladiator might, and killing blow. (idk this is off the top of my head, i forgot how to glaive). If u do tryit can u tell me the results, since the endo and vitus grind is gonna hurt real bad
