Great set. As New Yorkers you should see if there are any remixes of Type-O-Negative. Brooklyn band from 80/90's. They have abit of a range in their music, could be something for some cool remixes. I learned to like the song Summerbreeze listening to them. Also check out the Cult, English band from the same area, should also have some great potensial for cool remixes.

Nah, don't be shy, your own influences are what will keep it all interesting. And, it doesn't hurt to introduce people to Joy Division... I was a teenager through the 80s, so it's really cool hearing the whole thing repackaged and evolved.

OMF, my bands of the 80's " Bauhaus. Depeche Mode, Japan (check the out Jo jo) also Also New Order from our goth daysm back in the 80's. Showing our age here, but TBH JO JO & Tinzo play these tracks remixed to their superb max and they sound as good now as they did over 30 years ago. Blown away this mixing........... Rge Acid tracks, bring back memories of our early rave days in the 80's. nearly 40 years on and we are still stomping to these track. Thank u Jo Jo for playing these tracks that sound as good today as they did back in the 80's and 90's. @ 34 mins in " work it to the bone" our first acid house trip back in 1988 in an underground club *not dissimilar to The book Club. You guys bring emotions of joy back to the days of raving away to these tracks. Thank you!!!!

I think the thing I like the most about book club radio is that while yes it is a dj set, it does not revolve just around house/techno music, I mean of course there are elements of house in a lot of the songs but this is a dj set for people who love music in general and it brings people together.
