This looks so pretty! I decided to finally start using cabochons in my work instead of just buying them 😂 found this tutorial on a cabochon tutorial hunt and I’m glad I did! Not only did I learn a great way to wrap a cab I also learned a new trick with the rolling and pulling to tighten the wire! That’ll come in very handy. Thank you for sharing xx

Another game changer technique! I just tried this today and made two of these with cabochons. Worked great. My suggestion is to make sure the 18 gauge square frame is slightly larger than the stone when you first wrap it around because the frame shrinks after you start wrapping the 22 gauge wire around it. It worked better for me when I did that the second time, a much better fit around the stone. Both look great and are very secure.
