As weavers, we are so fortunate to have a plethura of weaving patterns to explore. So how do you prepare for a new pattern?

😂😂😂Ah, the heddle count. After 2 mess ups I now remember my heddle count before I start winding a warp.

? How do you know how many ends to put through each reed slot???

@@Sharon-lo7ow Great question! Your yarn will have a recommended sett (spacing), which will look like a range - ex. 18-24. The lower number is a plain weave sett and the higher number is a twill sett. When you research your pattern, uncover the recommended sett and apply it to your yarn. It gives you a place to start! Let me know if that makes sense!
