Welder beast is it okay to lay down oxygen bottles down in your truck bed and use them?
@Welderbeast4 жыл бұрын
Yes, oxygen is a compressed gas. You can store it in any direction and the gas will still dispense normally

@Welderbeast4 жыл бұрын
Sadly I probably won’t ever make videos of any jobs I do, I don’t care to make videos of how I do my work. I am very meticulous and sometimes things aren’t done perfect because we don’t live in a perfect world. So all those kind of videos would entice is criticism on how I did something wrong or how I should do it better and I don’t really care to open that can of worms;) some things are just best for business when they aren’t filmed

I honestly I don't find my work exciting enough to share its more just exciting to be working on my own ha i think your work is way more exciting
@derekalbite45035 жыл бұрын
It CAN be very exciting indeed but in my opinion mostly because of the sense of pride when you get to see the vessel put in the water and you see it actually floats haha. But besides that man id trade this job in a blink of an eye for a little bit more personal independence. And fair enough about your work i could see how it could feel boring enough to not be “worthy” of recording. But who knows some people might be into seeing a clip or twoo but thats just my opinion. Your’e videos are great as they are kind sir and i will continue watching.!!

Hi there, I've been watching a couple of your videos and you seem to have a lot knowledge, just wanted a view on starting a welding career at 36, as well as being a female. Cheers

I believe anything and everything is possible, with that being said. Possible doesn’t mean easy, there will be a lot of trials and hard times but as long as you keeping believing there is always a solution you will be good. There is literally no way you can fail if you never stop trying. Failure only happens when you decide to stop getting up after you fall. Failure is a decision not fate;)

Greetings from the Great PNW! I noticed you use the Ranger 250 GXT How does it do on pipe? On fuel? I'm thinking on purchasing the Ranger 305g. Any thoughts?
@Welderbeast5 жыл бұрын
It does great on pipe, y’all will get you 13 hours of straight run time. I’ve heard good things about the 305 as well, have you looked at the ranger 330 mpx
@BeJesus295 жыл бұрын
@@Welderbeast I looked at the Ranger 330mpx and i dont like the look. Nor the fact that you have to have the doors open in the front to access the outlets. It makes for having to have enough space in front of the welder to be able to open them. Not suitable for my positioning of welder. It'll be in the same spot you have yours.

Yo man I want to buy my first stick welder to practice my vertical and overhead what welder would you recommend?
@Welderbeast4 жыл бұрын
To be honest I don’t have a recommendation for something like that, I would only recommend machines I’ve personally run and they have all been engine driven machines mostly ranging from $5k-$20k in price. I prefer Lincoln Electric myself, try starting at looking at machines that fulfill the machine that covers your parameters on how does it produce its power. Either through an engine or it’s an inverter plugged into the wall. Then find one based off your amperage and duty cycle requirements(40% duty cycle means you can weld with it at that given amperage for 4 minutes out of 10)
