New wheels for the Supra!!! 19" BBS LM | Japan Racing JR23

In this video we look at fitting the Japan Racing JR23 Wheels. These are 19" BBS LM Replicas.
I struggled to find information on fitment of these wheels especially with the problematic size of the TT brakes on the supra.
My fitment is nice and aggressive and works well 99% of the time:
JR23:
19x8.5 ET20
19x9.5 ET20

I think the new wheels look sharp. Close up, the kerb defenders on the tyres look a bit ugly but I fully understand/agree why you want them. As always, tons of detail to help others 👍

Thanks Steve and agree totally with the kerb defenders. I stuck with the pzero wheels on the front as when I test fitted them they did not rub much. Bizarrely I found out later that a 235 tyre is not actually the same across all manufacturers so I played it safe and went with the brand I knew would not rub. Might risk it on the next set lol!

Hi! I was going to go 8.5j front & 9.5j rear with et35 all around. What do you think? I'm on jdm brakes.

Hi bud, I think et25 will probably be better. Et35 will sit too far in for my liking. Since I've had them on the car, I've only had them rub on two sections of road in over 1500 miles, and that road has a big dip. Go for as flush as possible in my opinion (et20-25)

@CRD90 I'm running oem suspension, are you sure there will be no rubbing? Don't want to trim the lips on quarter panel arches or roll front arches? Also I don't want as much poke as yours. Maybe et 30?

@@DarcyFuturism87 you'll be fine with et30, and can always put a spacer on later if you want. I used the website willtheyfit.com where you can put in your current wheel specs and the proposed specs. It will pretty much tell you how much further it will stick out compared to your current setup 👍🏽

JR temporarily stopped producing the 19" variant. So I could have either got 18" or waited. Glad I did in the end 👍🏽

@@OhDearBabajan no problem bud, should still be available I got mine from driftworks. Hyper silver is the finish - looks even better on real life. Are you looking to get them for your supra?

@@CRD90 yeah hiper looks better than regular. For my allroad b9.5. Can’t decide between this wheel and the rotiform rse, but I really want to go this direction. I think it’ll look beyond incredible.
