I have a 2005 ram Daytona single cab with the 22" OEM srt10 rims. I want to lower it but everyone keeps telling me to keep it as it sits. But I think it would look a lot meaner with a 2/4 or 2/5 drop. Just not sure if I'll have scrapping issues. Any suggestions?

I would love to see you do the black factory 5th gen tail lights on it. 5th gen HDs have the same bed so tail lights are direct bolt-on besides wiring which there are conversion harnesses available. They just look soo clean

IHC 3/5 or 4/6. Gets the rear axle centered correctly with the rear relocation control arm brackets. Also can do rear control arms to strengthen up the rear for launches. I have the belltech 2/4 performance kit on mine.

John GOD BLESS YOU for having the patience to deal with the stuff like the tire sensor programming!!!! I’m thinking definitely a drop since we all know what the final product is going to be!!! But I’m wondering if the cat motor weighs more than what’s in there now??? Maybe take that into consideration while dropping it so you won’t have to revisit the issue when you put the cat motor in!!! But thinking you’ll not minding doing that extra work and it’ll be more cool content for us to see!!!!!

Hey man idk if anyone in the comments has said this but IHC out in texas makes great drop kits for these trucks. I had a 14 rcsb with a 5/7 drop from them and loved it. If i could do it again i would of went with the 4/6 as I hauled a few things and the 5/7 drop would hit the bump stops. Don’t bother with the 2/4 belltech i had it on mine before the 5/7 and it rode very harsh and caused the truck to do weird swaying at highway speeds when you would hit any bumps

I swapped manual to power windows on my 3rd gen and the glass is all the same. I'm assuming manufacturing 2 different side glasses for manual and power would cost too much. I'm sure someone else will chime in but I'm almost positive it will be the same.

When I did my 2-4 Drop at about 97 mph The rear in a would shake I had an adjustable track bar added did not do any good my truck ran a 13 97 on 104 octane

Chrome =🤮 lol. Definitely needs a drop. When you drop it, make sure to get a good set of relocation brackets for the pan hard trailing arms. Illicit makes super nice stuff. The wheels will be off center in the wells if you dont. That and a rear sway bar will keep it from wheel hopping. This truck (one like it) is a goal for me to own. Iv always wanted one after helping my buddy build his 15. Such nice trucks
