My boyfriend is a singer in Cherry Creek Drum Group. He is trying to get me to sing with him. I love the way the women sing backup. The higher the better so the Great Spirit can hear them. There is a swelling in my heart when I hear women sing with the men. I love my Lakota Culture and I love the singing, dancing and the Love Songs Round Dance songs. I have grown up with an auntie that sings backup her whole life and she is my inspiration to love the songs and singers. Stay Native, Stay Proud! Pilamiya ye!
