I can second this. I was a Muslim whole life. Only when one year ago everything fell apart, business health and everything you can think of. I prayed and prayed. I didn't even pray five times. I just said il pray and I did whenever I can, read Quran and genuinely tried to connect with Allah. Repeated his names. Did wazifa to ask for healing. Now it's one year constantly trying. I look younger then I ever did in past ten years. My finance is good (before it was zero), and my relationship with family and wife is harmonious. It's changed totally. But feels like bad time never existed!!! How can I ever deny Allah after he did this and much much much more for me? And he said he will answer our prayer? If you are reading this and difficult time or just need to change life. I beg you, just read the Quran in translation if u don't know Arabic. Ask Allah to connect with you. Be mindful of doing wrong things. Just try, you will still fail but keep trying. Allah will answer, it's not a joke. Every Dua he answers makes me fear Allah even more, but also love him and all prophets even more, because as kids we sometimes think these are just stories, but I know better now. Remember, Dua is also a worship, so you can Dua even when not doing prayer. Keep him in mind and heart I promise you there will be a response, he never fails us, we are the ones who fail.

Why don't they modernise worship ? Like chairs seating and large TV screens. I rarely go coming from an Agnostic muslim background. When I go because of my father, all that cramped space on the floor in uncomfortable positions and prayers ???? What's the point & my brother who was regular can't be bothered either.
