Hey Volty, I love the scorpion sting with hatchet. I want to make a hatchet for OPR, Arena, Island. What is the value of pen backstab over attunement? I was thinking Keen berserk, attunement, plagued crits. What is your thoughts? is vicious pen backstab that much higher value? want to make sure I get it right so I do not waste an inductor

vic/penback/zerk is best cause hatchet is based on crits you have 1.4 critical multiplier on hatchet and with zerk+vic you have 27% critical dmg and pen backstab is just too good to not use it its especially good against medium/heavy players I would rather put plague crits on scorpio than on hatchet for this build

featherweight if light and tumbler if medium, you get way more defence value from featherweight

enchanted ward is the best for melee builds ele aversion is ok on range builds like bow for example cuz ele aversion says its 4,5% elemental dmg reduction but its a lie 😂if you will do dmg mitigation testing you will see that in reality its like ~3% dmg mitigation so its better to go full opals in armor to have elemental resistances and enchanted ward in gear

4-5 enchanted wards, elemental aversion is ok but not better than ench ward but you can have frigid items that have both of them

Serenity over grace for sure, ankh is good if you have pocket healer, blooddrinker is trash so in my opinion is either endless thrist or elemental band but after they will fix elemental band Endless thirst would be the best

@@spacetime4158late reply, but that depends on your skill level. OPR/wars featherweight is more beneficial. Small scale PvP I run tumblers and crutch shirk heals. But if you’re good and don’t dive into a pack and pick your fights with your kill squad then you can easily run tumblers in wars/OPR too

i saw in your biss build link that you have elemental split damage on the serenity why's that, dont you lose slash damage value doing that ? from the rings

@@nightmaretgc you lose ye but this split gems are no longer that good I think a lot of people went for full elemental instead of slash resists due to hatchet nerf so I think it's better to go opal/emerald in weapon now

yes Heavy is to strong as light melee you should avoid Heavy sns, blunderbuss/ig/vg players its so hard to fight this kind of people :D

Medium is in 90% scenarios better than light just because you have way more armor value so you can tank more dmg I play light just because I love it 😅😅

I use medium armor and winged shoes, alacrity amulet and grace, also hasted vigor. Permanent speed boost, dmg and I'm tanky af.

Is shirking empower or mortal empower better for war and OPR? Feels like shirking empower would be a little more consistent?

it depends really if you play light I would go for mortal empower 100% but if you are medium than shirking empower is really good cuz its way easier to proc it also with this specyfic build you dont need to go shirking empower at all IF you have serenity cause it gives you up to 20% empower for both weapons already than you have 7% honing stone and 7,8% ring and than you got mortal stacks also up to 20% empower and Hatchet zerk empower + GS empower after relentless and dodge so you should be good on empowers without shirking empo (empower cap is at 50%) and I think instead of shirking empower on amulet you should go like Stamina recovery or Fortifying recovery just for survavibility I'm still not sure what I wanna go for

@ how do you know what an item is really worth? It seems like there are a lot of scams, especially on fresh start servers where market is very volatile

for example when I see 690 gs light boots with enchanted ward or elemental aversion + slash/thrust conditioning and on 3rd perk usefull weapon perk or like health for 200 gold im instantly buying it😄 and than I search if there is similar one on TP if not im posting it for like 2-5k depends on item

cause its better value if you will test elemental aversion you will see that it says it gives you 4,5% per piece and in reality it is like up to 3% only and if you will add even more gear pieces with ele aver it will be even less value per pieces cuz it decreses with more you have. Enchanted ward is way better as light melee you resist dmg from hatchet/sns/spear light attack spams on meele fights also from muskets/bows/fs on range, so its better to go ench ward and opals in gear for elemental resists vs melee split dmg players and all range split dmg players

gz Apo :D I think Serenity is better than Grace Hatchet gives you enough mobility and you can also slot 1-2 Hasted vigors so you will be hasted almost all the time but ye for sns/gs maybe Grace is better no clue 🤷‍♂ but I would play with serenity anyways I think

Keep in mind that the haste from offensive abilities on grace doesnt work so it is basically useless as you can get vicious, keen speed + any other perk on normal GS

Been playing this build.. not at all BiS but i feel like im not doing the damage that i should, being light armor, giving me 15% more base damage.. onslaught giving me 15% damage. It feels like im being out traded every fight and not sure why

depends who you fight and also depends on greatsword you have if you have Grace it wont hit that hard but with Serenity UFFF you will SMASH that heavys on their faces. if you are fighting heavy players you will always do low dmg also in this meta you should split your damage to elemental since you have 2 slash weapons and most people runs like 30%+ slash resistances

I cant figure out what im doing wrong in this dam game, everyone is hitting crazy numbers and can take a shit load of dmg. I am out here hitting people for 400-1200 dmg and die almost instantly once someone touches me.
