Steel Six Draw is a great bow for this. It comes with Rapid shot, and Keen as auto perks so you can change something out like for it if you prefer something over keenly jagged. Can farm it from the Lotus. The plant boss right next to the monkey boss that drops Lifetaker

FOR ALL RETURNING PLAYERS: if you are struggling to find a good build like I was u should really tried this, been doing fire staff and void gauntlet, greatsword rapier and nothing beats this one, very nice build and for something like 15-20k u can get very nice pieces!

Finisher's FnF is nuts if you get 3 stacks of bleed from Tondo and Flurry (FnF perk dmg isn't thrust specific - just physical), but I do run it w/ spear.

Good build, i made a good decission in following you. I'm just playin PVE...got my reason why but that doesnt matter atm. Im playin either bow-rapier or bow-spear, depends on if we have another spear or rapier player in the group, but one or two questions...how would your best in slot PVE bow look like ? And would you chose bleeding sweep over weakening skewer on the weapon and with wich other perks ? atm i would prefer: For Bow: penetrating rapid shot, lifesteal and enchanted For Spear: weakening skewer, lifesteal and enchanted

Scorpion Sting - don't waste your time w/ extra luck. It'll eventually drop. Anecdotally, I've found I can get 1 artifact per day. If I've already gotten one, there's little chance I'm getting another before chest reset time.

they have removed resistance for mobs, so there is no need to worry about doing less damage in a specific dungeon. Enfeebling weapon perks are king in PvE.

Untrue. Some are labeled specifically resist to certain types of elemental dmg. I kinda miss the built-in resist of certain mob types as it made you really think about weapon choices. The weakness still applies though, but some players don't factor it in, and mobs in Elysian Wilds don't follow those rules anyway.

If you dont want to be in their face at all, and rarely use the spear. Why not just run LifeTaker or Finisher for the extra ranged dmg? Spear doesnt buff ranged dmg at all.

I usually won't bring any Bow players to M+ unless they are in my clan (to be nice).. The damage is not great and you lose a utility because they are ranged.. and they pull aggro shooting before the tank hits it which means you have to chase the thing down, they die often and finally they don't stack for heals. If you want to do dungeons I'd recommend going melee with a spear, great axe or hammer as your secondary for support.

What about running vg artifact that applies 30% rend almost 100% of the time on top of 10% rend with headshot. If you get poison shot perk it’s a source of weaken as well. You can drop oblivion for team and yourself

most people running bow arent running in and laying down circles.. also, that could be done by the healer. Bow just doesn't bring enough dmg/utility to any team going hard. If your casually doing dungeons its fine, if youre trying to be the most efficient you leave the bow at home.@@Mauywowie

@@TroyHarrisTechTV yeah I could see for “speed runs” or meta don’t bring a bow. It definitely takes more “skill” to aim a bow then it is to backstab with melee. Bow with vg can hit up to 16k with final shot of rapid and below 50% on boss you’ll have rapid up almost 100% of the time. I’m definitely not arguing with you that it’s meta or anything but definitely doable to do gold m3 with reasonable pace.

This is a really nice build but just don't run this in M3s, especially without full gems. In M3s you need 50% resist to the element that is currently active or otherwise you will be having hard time. This is totally fine for M1 and M2, but M3s being harder than M10s used to be, this kind of build won't really cut it in most dungeons. Maybe in Tempest this can work and in dynasty/ennead too, but it is just the sad truth that spear/gs/ga/rapier and even hatchet are superior gor having a smooth M3 experience.
