I love ESO been playing it for 6 years BUT new world is a nice change when it comes to MMORPG even playing new world with a controller is extremely easy as well, there are still ALOT of bugs but hell ESO has been out for years and still has bugs, exploits, glitches and a horrible class balance as well so I'm enjoying new world

The number of snipers are a pain, they're everywhere, all the time, and feels like AD, a few good people, but most of them bad and just spamming the shoot button. XD Also, good thumbnail choice 👌

I honestly wouldn’t say they are. I’ve been running rifle and against a heavy armor player if you hit them with a head shot it does maybe 10% health. Rifles are like mosquito bites even if you are good at them. Their primary use I’d say is to get the DoT talent, shoot someone while engaging to DoT them up, and then engage with a melee weapon. Same for Bow and Arrow. I specced for full Damage with Bow, tried a fully charged headshot on a mob 10 levels below me, and I only did half its life in damage.

@@xxJing Heavy armor for sure is op in pvp, but, a musket can keep a lot of distance using slows and far engagement Usually I can dodge them and close in, but there have been times where I got completely outplayed and they take half my hp before I reach them. May not have 'ideal dps' but it's annoying, then I've seen some run spear in melee combat, which is really annoying to deal with at lowered hp, the stun combos can do a lot of dmg (sweep knock down, attack, throw spear knock down, attack, stun kick, power attack then dodge), others use rapier to make the gap bigger again, meaning you either gap close early to hit them while shooting, get a few hits and they jump away or take time to get closer and gap close after they try to make space. The rapier is kinda harsh atm though. It can provide mobility, the best skill imo being the quick step and spin thing, it's an extra dodge that can be used mid battle, the counter, while nice is often outranged by common weapons, the damaging rapier skills are pretty meh in pvp imo, interesting for pve dps though

Combat looks slow and static and clunky but it is early doors... Hopefully with some polishing it will improve I really want MMORPG's to succeed so I'll wait for now see how it unfolds.

Animation lock in normal and heavy attacks make this game more challenging to play.. unlike ESO.. it may be slow paced, but this game has a potential. This game makes eso players learn the way of not 1v6 or 1vX everything on every class like eso does..Youvl really need proper positiong as healer and Range dps. As a tank initiator with a good initiation.

There's not really anything unique or something inspiring to make me want to buy the game, invest in it and play. The sound effects are good, good for sci-fi games it just doesn't work well with the theme of this game.

The combat does not feel good. No fluidity of movement. Every button press locks you into awkward animations and there’s no freedom of movement. Just feels awful

@@xubious that really does not matter. You know what MMO has animation locking for abilities? TERA. It’s dead. The single most important thing in an mmo is gameplay. This game doesn’t have it. Neither does ashes of creation.

Well I think its really fun so far. Since steam allow refund on pre order games , you can play the beta for 400 hours and still ask for a refund in the end.
