I like it for the dps aspect, but I worry now that healers will be stupid OP in PvP. I was about to start trying out PvP, now I'm not so sure. Gonna wait I think before I invest the mats into the set and see what happens.

I’m not thrilled about this gem update at all for pvp. As you already mentioned the Abyss is ridiculous in OPR and so are healers. So now you will have even more healers that can withstand being beat on my 5+ players but now they will just take players out with a powerful weapon. They heal themselves to full in a second and then keep beating the crap out of people.
