New World Gypsy String Band - The Owl and the Raven/Pacheco

The New World Gypsy String Band is Chris Caswell, Lisa Lynne, and Aryeh Frankfurter; three harpers and multi-instrumentalists at the top of their game. This is a new collaboration characterized by deep listening and an obvious joy in playing together! Here is a clip from their first performance at the Occidental Center for the Arts, along with clips of them at the Golden Toad Music and Dance Camp - both in June, 2010. The Owl and the Raven was written byy Chris for the wonderful Hawaiian slack-key guitarist Kevin Brown. Pacheco was written by Robin Williamson and His Merry Band during a blizzard in Chicago.
