ironman is an amazing gaming movement because it removes you from the rat race, and you stop looking so much at what other people have or are doing and how you can reach that point the fastest way possible. Ironman is like the return to traditional gaming, a gamemode that simply can't be touched by mtx or blackmarket deals, and somehow is indifferent to their impact on the game. You need to truly love the game and not just one aspect, trying to be the very best at something tends to lead to people who make excuses why they aren't and why its not their fault. Ironman is a slow burn, you'll miss out on a lot, but you'll also have a much more meaningful experience for yourself and a new understanding of the game. This is just what ironman means to me though, and obviously not always the best/only way I play video games lol.

The lack of expansion on the OPR platform is, quite frankly, mind boggling. I mean all they have to do is add more maps and it would make a world of difference to the player base. That's not even talking about the need of different game types (CTF, Death Match, etc). Just more maps. That's not hard/complicated at all. You queue up, when the queue pops, the map is randomly selected and you're on your way. How basic is that? So many people only want to pvp, yet for end game content they get the same single map of the same game play for over a year now. This is just one of the massive potential cool things that the devs are seriously missing out on. It's not reinventing the wheel. It's nothing ground breaking. but it makes all the difference in the world to the actual gamers (because we all know the devs are not actual gamers), and it's this kind of lack of vision that's doomed this game to the mediocre-at-best status it has right now. But hey, we can all go pick up presents from the ground and kill the same world boss for a month to get some emotes and deco...so much potential in this game not being realized and that's the real shame of it all.

yeah it is a shame only one map, then war every 2 days for territory, for a pvp game or should be a pvp game now its more pve.

Yea there’s a lot to level. Got 150 in armoring and realized how much more grinding and farming is still left 😩 ima just wait for good stuff on traders. Sucks u don’t have that luxury lol

Wish I could enjoy this game again. Your videos really make me want to dive in again. However, when I reinstalled recently, the game ran like absolute garbage for me. It used to run great on my rtx2070 but now on my 3080 it runs a stuttery like 30-40fps on low settings. No idea why that's happening. It's the only game that does this for me too.

No end game is the actual end game. You know, when you end the game there's nothing there, it has ended. In traditional MMOs "end"game is actually start game and levelling system actually detracts from the game but braindead "levels=rpg" (i haven't seen levels in theatre and they definitely play roles therr) trope is stuck too heavily in both players' and devs' heads to resign from it

On the plus side you aren't only crutching on hatchet, but also crutching on rapier. Bro you use the most garbage cheese builds, play the game with an actually interesting and hard to use build.
