This was satisfying to watch. Never mind people expecting a range build to run up and fight in melee range, lol. This is the exact play style ill be playing. Even in PVE. I was in an earlier Beta, but leveling things just seemed too long back then. Didn't get to have the musket. What is the difference between Bow and Musk? Fast vs harder? Range? What?

Bow has bullet drop, slower projectiles and generally just a more close range weapon. It was a sick aoe attack though that basically works like a shotgun and will insta kill close enemies. I didn't test the bow so I don't know the difference in normal shot dmg. Musket is the giga chad weapon anyway if you wanna make your enemies mald so badly that they rope. I mean, just look at the comments. Musket also has a tree dedicated just for sniping. Sniping is good for PVE too, I was almost full dex and could kill any mob before they reached me in melee.

This is why Con and armor are important. If you're above lvl 50 and don't have 10k HP, you're just asking for it. Just as I'm sure that anyone going full Dex (or full STR or full INT) SHOULD be doing a bare minimum of 1k a pop... (I know they aren't 50+, but a geared out 39 can easily catch up to an un-socketed 50, Dex-wise). If you're gonna glass cannon, dont expect others not to do the same.

Man the hate at you using your range advantage in a full dex musket build is actually insane... Guys not every fight is gonna be 2 players running up on eachother, bowing pulling out the sword and shield and power striking / trying to stunlock eachother to death. Would you expect a full Focus build Fire staff guy to stand around and let people hit him with swords as well or would you expect them to use range advantage and hit with spells long range... this is the idea of how these specs work.

Hmm, not sure if you're a melee or a caster, but I had a ton of fun with musket. It felt kinda similar to balance druid pvp or teemo in league of legends. The hit and run playstyle. The farming and crafting system is really good too.

Only thing that triggered me tho is that you didn't use the focus fire for the kneeling position, maybe you didn't fully specd it? basicly you cuold apply the damage increase on all 5 shots while kneeling. What kind of weapon were you using?what kind of damage conversion?

I did use focus fire. You can hear the difference in the shots, sounds like a silencer and has less smoke. I used a lvl 35 crafted weapon with 40% magic dmg.

@@pedrikebh The cd on power shot starts when you first load it, not when you shoot. The power shot 25% dmg buff seems to last forever when I played. The cd on the aim stance starts once you shoot, not when you start aiming. You can start aiming and cancel aim without triggering cd.

People need to understand that had you been at range, regardless of shooting at someone aware of you or not, you would have still killed them. When you can aim, musket is just too op because of the hit scan. Ive seen my mate play with it, its impossible to beat at a distance if you can aim and have a decent fight IQ. Im curious, what do you pair the musket with now?

@@raizox6134 rapier is good for both repositioning and running away, and if you build the grace tree you dish out a ton of dmg in a really short period of time so good for people who insist on running at you through the fire. I would recommend it as one of the best musket secondaries. Plus people run straight at you spamming buttons so they run right into riposte, which you can then turn into a trap and a double headshot.
