Was very pleased to hear about the quest rewards providing Beast Ward Gear. They really need to advertise that. Am sure many like me had no interest in trying to get another Ward set. I might start just coming back to do season pass then take a break. Happy to hear season 2 is looking pretty good.

i'm happy that AGS is adding stuff. I only recently got back in after leaving during the launch depacle, 400hrs clocked. It's too bad that they aren't doing more to attract old players or new players long term. Like you said, 3 hours for the season 2 story is nothing. That's my biggest issue being back, the community seems to be dead and those few dedicated left are withering away. I was surprised to see only 8 servers are left active in the entire north america region and from the numbers it seems like it's too many. I'm not sure what they could do personally but if the map doubled in size and they adjusted the territory domination issue (limit how many territories a faction AS WELL as organization can control for example) this would help other orgs feel like they belong. Invasions need to go back to the roots of actually being hard. Naked invasions are common on my server and they always win....that should not be possible in my opinion. almost 2 years later i expected a lot more BUT i want to play and i want them to continue adding so i'm hoping for the best.

Another channel said that New world will have a summer fishing event and fish can be mounted as decorations. IMO, that is more interesting than some 3 hour quest line for season 2. When I heard about the fishing event, then I went out and caught every legendary fish that I could find listed. I also caught some of the large swordfish. IDK, if the fish mounts are bind on pick-up. Seems there might be some coin to be made, if those mounts could be sold later.

that is the same summer event as last year :) but it is fun, I have all the fish mounted, and yes they are bind on pick up.. if you watch my fishing luck video you will see them all over in my house

@@5HeadSurvivalGaming Yeah, I have seen fishing mounts before, but thought it might have been discontinued. Some of the legendary fish cannot be taxidermized now, whereas before some of those fish could. Similarly, I read info about getting pets from quests, like a pet dog from the dog giving the quest for bones from Amrine. I never got a pet dog from that quest, but I done it a few times.

I haven't played for a while, season 1 to me leveling up made me feel like I had shores to do, and it was boring, to say the least, we should be able to level up just by doing what we did to reach lv60. I did get to lv50 just for the dog and ill be back for S2 since it seems it has gotten better in the story telling part. Thanks for letting us know that.

Im quite a new player, I found the path to 60 fairly fast and easy. I feel I still have so many maps to explore and im already 60. And tbf I found season 1 quests (started them today once reached 60) pretty fun, also found the base game quests while leveling pretty engaging and fun. Pretty good new player experience this far, I just get worried with all the negativity of ppl talking about game numbers and amazon decisions. Rly hope the game gets the population back because Im having a blast and would love to keep playing the awesome game.

I love watching your videos as my primary source of NW news, but I just don't quite understand the Dev's thought process here; NW almost daily reaches a new low in player count and to me that should be setting off sirens and alarm bells that put the dev's into panic mode and trying to get past players to come back should be the top priority. But all the news and updates that come from the dev's seem pretty expected and straightforward and to me that's what the problem. These dev's are very reluctant to take their obvious L's and then implement change and improve things; I mean come on lets get some actual radical changes in here, what's the worst that could happen? The game's almost on its way out already.

4K hours here - was logging it daily till recently. Absolutely dont fucking care anymore. Waste of time for me - and even wasting your time is based on RNG in new world. Also - nothing matter if the gear reset is soon - my suspicion is that they give us all of those nice weapons now because they know they are going to be obsolete soon. And on that note - i have like 3 storages of different named weapons/world drops etc. why adding new shit when we have so many weapons which are so bad nobody ever uses them? I dont get it - the devs thinking process behind some of their decissions is a mystery to me.

well it moves towards melee only.. pvp was fun, but ye... even after bane buffs, cant get in dungeons as fs/ig xd
