What are your thoughts on the wall tower shield? Do you think it will be that much better than the shield you have now? I'm using the same one and it still feels really good.

Idk. If I can put sturdy fortification on it then maybe. But so far dodge is useful to catch ppl not as much for defense. I made a video how to animation cancel and dodge but you have to bar swap and remove all your sns buffs. Also it's armour and idk if it's worth more than my current shield and darkplate combined

the michael is good if you're using greatsword, the empower on block and heal on block apply to greatsword block. that includes the block you do when charging heavy attacks in defiance stance. ive been having alot of fun with it.

I’m wearing the same build and I don’t get heavy crits above 2k. What am I doing wrong ?

Try setting up the rend with clear put and Shockwave. Also you have 35% increase base dps after getting hit for 1 sec which gives a ton of dps. Backstabs also hit hard. You do more dmg to CC opponents. If you heavy attack one player, the next heavy is also empowered by 20%. Make sure your have rune glass in too. With at least 200 str you should hit hard if you have the right buffs. The dmg from WH is mostly from the skill tree and setting up your combos

So I'm thinking that the grit ward could help us to be more aggressive spamming light attacks. I was thinking to go full runeglass leaching and full grit ward to try to be 100% spaming abilities and attacks. But I only have one piece with grit. I will try build this and let you.

Yessirrr. One of the few things I learned over the years using this weapon. Like even in thick water, you can block and move backwards (faster than moving forward) and get out as ppl try and chase you. Many more tips and tricks I have to remember to show in vids

Elemental aversion, health, weapon perk, darkplate artifact, and (stopwatch or ankh). Basically same build as always. Elemental aversion still king as all ranged dots are mitigated by this. So all those VG bows can be somewhat countered. Build thrust resistance through conditioning or thrust protection Amulet.

@@theman2657 MG doesn't really add much utility. Unless the weakened is very strong, MG sucks as a move even with grit. You waste 2 skill points on haste and stamina damage which are objectively and subjectively useless. So that weakened needs to be really really good. Plus the strength passive that give physical dmg won't work on it

I feel like with Lost Stopwatch you have to spec into Concussive Bash for the 6 sec stun, Its just too strong to miss out on. But I think the only real way to do this is to either not spec into Mobility (which is the purpose of this video) or lose Improved/intimidating rush on Shield Rush. Are there any other perks in the defender tree you think could be swapped out? I know Concussive bash is only useful in small scale PVP and soloing, which is your style. Maybe you find the default 4secs stun is enough?

The last perk on shield bash only adds one sec. I can get most combos without it. Unfortunately it will be mobility vs 1 second longer shield bash

Awesome fights. Your patients on the healing pots at low HP is crazy. I'd be spamming it as soon as it was up. I notice you dont use runeglass in armour, any reason? Not worth it or too expensive to switch out if needed?

Thanks man. The main thing is the health pots reduce my armour and I like have very high armour. Armour gives HP and all fortify scales from armour. If I need more dps I would remove refreshing from ring for strike damage, or add attunement to WH. If I need more healing I'll add lifesteal to WH. I am very reluctant to sacrifice any armour.

Dodge to position and cover distance. Don't dodge as your primary for of defense. Dodge and block both used for defense will leave your stamina paused and keep you exhausted
